Just now, hearing so noise at the door, Easton Hols thought it was another curious dical staff coming to see Lily Turner. As he was about to rush over to stop them, Alice Turner walked in from outside.
Seeing Alice returning, Lily Turner was quite puzzled, "Sis! What’s going on with you..."
Halfway through her words, Lily suddenly saw the bag Alice was holding and instantly realized why Alice had co back.
"It’s just a bag, yet you specially brought it over for ."
Earlier, the situation was too urgent for Lily Turner to even think about her bag. Just as Alice Turner was about to drive away, she accidentally turned her head and happened to see the bag left on the seat.
"I’m afraid I’ll forget it again tomorrow."
Alice walked over, handed the bag to Lily, and turned to leave, "I’m going now, I won’t disturb your rest."
As she walked out the door, she waved her hand behind her back towards Lily on the bed.
Before Lily could say anything, Alice had already closed the door in a hurry and left the ward so quickly that it amazed her: "She’s so swift, it’s a pity she’s not in the Olympics."
Musing at the recently closed door, she eventually withdrew her gaze.
"Your sister would have to want to go participate."
Easton Hols turned his head to glance at the woman who was randomly musing, then reached out to the wontons placed on the cabinet. He sat down beside the bed, "Want to eat so more?"
He held the wontons in front of her, but didn’t forcibly feed her; instead, he looked at her to seek her opinion.
"No more."
Lily Turner pushed away the wontons held in front of her. She had been eating so much these days that she was almost defying the natural order, and now she didn’t dare to look in the mirror. She wasn’t sure how much weight she had gained, but she just knew that she had.
Easton Hols didn’t offer the wontons to Lily again, nor did he urge her to eat them. Instead, he picked up the wontons and started eating them himself.
"How does it taste? Pretty good, right?"
Seeing him eat with great relish, she couldn’t help but ask.
"It’s just okay." Easton replied rather reluctantly.
This was far from the answer Lily Turner was expecting, so she pouted in disappointnt. Spotting her small gesture, Easton tapped her forehead with his right index finger, "Just teasing you, the wontons taste great."
He wasn’t altering his comnt because he saw her pout; in fact, the wontons tasted really good.
"You’re so annoying! I’m not talking to you."
Lily Turner raised her hand to retaliate against the man, playfully glaring at him, then turned her body towards the window, leaving him with a silent back view.
This girl!
Shaking his head at her silent back in amusent, Easton Hols continued to eat his wontons. Just as he was about to finish the bowl, Lily Turner suddenly turned back towards him.
Uncertain of what was happening, he looked at her in puzzlent, "What’s wrong?"
Seeing her expression, it seed like she had sothing to say to him.
"After eating, you should hurry back. I can be here by myself." Lily Turner peeked into Easton’s bowl, where only a few wontons were left. At his speed, he should finish them quickly.
She turned around to make him leave?!
Being ushered out by Lily Turner, Easton Hols was obviously taken aback. After the surprise, he was left with a deep sense of dissatisfaction, "I know you can be by yourself, but Mrs. Hols! In this condition, how can I leave you here alone and just go ho?"
