Alia Linton’s phone was left at ho by its owner, so it was impossible for anyone to answer, no matter who called.
Easton Hols called several tis, and the result was as expected. He inford Fabian Hols on the other end of the line, "The phone is ringing, but no one is answering."
He reported truthfully, without any concealnt.
"Your mom won’t even answer your call?!"
Fabian Hols was not surprised but rather worried. He could understand if Alia didn’t answer his call, but he couldn’t understand why she wouldn’t answer Easton’s call.
Thinking about the things she said during the argunt and seeing the current unusual behavior, his anxious state was beyond words.
Upon hearing this, Easton Hols blurted out, "She doesn’t even acknowledge as her son anymore, let alone just a phone call."
When he said this, his mind was entirely on the text he had received earlier.
"Your mom doesn’t acknowledge you? How is that possible?!"
Fabian Hols was left with nothing but surprise and confusion. He was surprised how Alia could not acknowledge Easton, and confused as to why Easton would say such a thing. He couldn’t figure out either.
Easton Hols imdiately gathered his somber emotions, took a deep breath, and returned to normal, "I called and she didn’t answer. You should try soone else."
The "soone else" he referred to was not an outsider, but his half-brother.
"Soone else? Who?"
Fabian Hols didn’t imdiately grasp Easton’s aning and was puzzled.
"Your precious son!"
Easton Hols thought Fabian was pretending to be confused on purpose. After speaking, he hung up the phone with a snap.
After hanging up the phone, he directly pulled out the phone line.
"What happened?"
Lily Turner’s voice suddenly ca from the bed. Easton Hols quickly looked up towards the bed, and only then did he notice she was sitting on the bed. He stood up and walked over to her.
When Fabian called for the second ti, Lily Turner had already woken up, but she just hadn’t made a sound.
"Your parents had a fight?"
Although she hadn’t heard the full conversation just now, she could tell from his words that his parents had a fight.
Easton Hols bent over to sit beside her, habitually putting his arm around her, "Did I wake you?"
He raised his other hand to tuck the hair hanging by her face behind her ear, his movent natural and smooth.

As Lily Turner spoke, she didn’t keep her hands idle. She pulled over Easton Hols’ left hand, which had a watch on it. Without waiting for his answer, she checked the ti herself.
"It’s so late?!"
She thought it might already be late, but she hadn’t expected it to be this late. It was past one in the morning.
Lily Turner wasn’t soone who loved staying up late. Unless she had work at night, she would go to bed at ten o’clock sharply.
Now that she was pregnant, her rest ti had moved up, directly moved up by half an hour.
Hearing Lily Turner’s exclamation, Easton Hols looked down at the ti. Indeed, it wasn’t early. He then turned his gaze to her, "You’d better hurry up..."
