Alia Linton walked to the window with her phone, looked down, and sure enough, she saw that familiar figure downstairs at the inpatient departnt.
What is he doing here so late? She didn’t see anyone else around, did he intentionally sneak out? Does he really not want to be with her that much?
It must be that. What could he possibly have going on this late? Everyone from the company has gone ho. He must be avoiding her.
With this thought, Alia Linton couldn’t help but feel angry. She walked over, grabbed her coat, left the room, and headed straight downstairs to find Fabian Hols, who was standing outside the inpatient building.
anwhile, after sending a text ssage and not receiving any more calls from Alia, Fabian’s mood was not as agitated as before.
He paced back and forth with his phone in hand, occasionally lifting it to check, then checking again after a mont.
"Fabian Hols! Who are you waiting for?"
Alia’s voice suddenly ca from behind, startling Fabian. After the surprise, he turned around in the direction of the voice.
At the mont he turned, he saw her walking out of the inpatient departnt, and his expression imdiately turned unpleasant. "Didn’t I say I had sothing to do? Why did you co down here?"
Watching her stride over towards him, he really wanted to turn and run, but thinking about the consequences of doing so, he only treated it as a thought in his mind. He stood there, suppressing his anger, waiting for her.
"Why do you think I ca down? Who’s the vixen you’re waiting for?" Alia rushed up to Fabian, and at the mont he was distracted, she snatched the phone from his hand.
Having taken his phone, she quickly moved aside to check for anything suspicious but realized she didn’t know his phone’s unlock code.
Having the phone and not being able to see anything was no different than not getting it at all. No! There is a difference; she couldn’t open the phone, but she could wait.
She wanted to see which vixen had captured his heart, making him co out in the middle of the night in the cold wind. He really had persistence. Why didn’t she see him being so sad over her?
Fabian was nearly driven crazy by Alia. Anger enveloped him completely. He pointed a finger at her, who had hidden a short distance away, and shouted angrily, "You’re such a lunatic. I must have been blind back then."
He really regretted marrying her. He must have been blind then; otherwise, how could he marry such a lunatic?
"You’re the lunatic! You..."
"Both of you are lunatics!"
The noise caused by Fabian and Alia woke up the sleeping patients in the ward. A daring patient on the second floor opened the window and shouted at them.
"You say that again..."
Bam!
As soone insulted them, Alia looked up towards the second floor following the sound, and as she just managed to say three words, the person shut the window with a bang to express dissatisfaction with their behavior.
Fabian took a few deep breaths to quickly calm down his angry emotions. Once his mood had slightly stabilized, he walked over and grabbed Alia, steering her away from the inpatient departnt.
He knew her well. She wouldn’t stop until she made a scene. If he forcibly dragged her back to the ward, she’d just cause a bigger commotion, disturbing the other patients in the ward for sure.
He was worried they’d be thrown out by the on-duty dical staff; he definitely didn’t want to go back and be humiliated with her.
