Fabian tugged Alia away from the inpatient departnt, and only then did he let go of her arm. At this mont, he was so angry that he didn’t know what to say to her, rely glaring at her with furious eyes.
Seeing this situation, Alia wasn’t scared at all. She even wore a deliberately provocative smile, "Looks like I guessed right, you’re indeed waiting for the vixen’s call, Fabian! You’ve got so nerve, even at your age, still playing tricks?"
Seeing the man so angry, she confidently assud she had guessed correctly, that the man in front of her was indeed waiting for another woman’s call.
Thinking of this, the anger in her eyes grew more intense.
"I’m waiting for your brother’s call, is your brother a vixen?" Fabian angrily shouted the real situation at Alia, and after stating the truth, he furiously added, "Is your brother a vixen?"
He felt a mont of satisfaction from shouting, but it was short-lived. No sooner had he finished than she grabbed his clothes and pulled him closer, "Fabian! Don’t use my brother as a scapegoat for your unseemly affairs. Waiting for my brother’s call at this hour, who are you trying to fool?"
Alia was now convinced that Fabian was waiting for another woman’s call. No matter what Fabian said, she wouldn’t believe him.
Just as now, he was telling the truth, but she still thought he was lying to her.
"All you know is to cling to these petty matters. Do you know Easton and Theodore are about to fight?" Fabian forcefully slapped away the hand clutching his clothes and angrily retorted, "You know nothing, just causing trouble all day long."
He glared at her with anger, showing no pleasant expression whatsoever.
"They’re fighting? Why?"
At first, Alia thought Fabian was lying to her again, but considering that he might lie about anyone except Theodore, her anger quickly turned into deep confusion.
Fabian blurted out, "It’s all because of you."
He shifted the bla for the situation entirely onto the woman in front of him, as if he bore no responsibility or mistakes at all.
"Because of ?"
Alia was clueless about what had happened, pointing a finger at herself in bewildernt.
Seeing this, Fabian thought she was pretending to be confused on purpose and angrily said, "Of course it’s because of you. If it weren’t for you forcing Ivy to her death years ago, Theodore wouldn’t..."
"That woman was fooling around with you; do you think I know who she is? I forced her to death? At that ti, I wished I could kill her myself." Hearing Fabian ntion Ivy, Alia’s emotions suddenly grew agitated again. That na was like a thorn deeply lodged in her heart.
Even after more than twenty years, she still held onto a burning hatred.
Fabian was about to argue back when suddenly he noticed the phone in Alia’s hand light up and vibrate, and he imdiately thought it was Michael calling. He quickly reached out to grab the phone she had snatched earlier.
"What are you doing?"
Alia also heard the phone ring, but she still didn’t believe what Fabian had said earlier. Before he could reach her, she had already taken the phone and moved aside.
Dodging him, she quickly picked up the phone and looked at it; indeed, it was a call from her brother. However, she still didn’t give the phone back to him and answered the call herself.
