Alice Turner brought up the topic of divorce repeatedly today, which made Benjamin Shaw extrely irritable. He imdiately contradicted what he had just said, "I don’t have ti tomorrow."
After tossing out that sentence, he turned around and continued walking towards the door.
Seeing this, Alice Turner imdiately ran to the door, and before Benjamin Shaw could reach out to open it, she quickly got there and pushed him away from the door. After pushing him aside, she leaned against the door, blocking his way out, "Benjamin Shaw! You can’t act so shalessly. You clearly said you were free tomorrow, yet you lied to saying you weren’t."
Now she had reason and evidence to believe he was deliberately making things difficult for her.
"Alice Turner! Why are you acting like a shrew?" Benjamin Shaw didn’t expect Alice Turner to pull such a stunt, nor did he expect her to call him shaless. It was the first ti he’d seen this side of her, and it truly opened his eyes.
But truth be told, she was quite strong, almost knocking him over.
Being called a shrew, Alice Turner was quite unhappy, "My behavior changes depending on the person I’m dealing with. With soone as shaless as you, I absolutely don’t need to be polite."
Not only did he insult her, but he also deliberately made things difficult for her. He was really despicable, looking decent on the outside, but actually just a scoundrel.
"I am shaless, so what can you do about it? I actually have all the ti in the world tomorrow, but I just don’t want to go to the Civil Affairs Bureau with you." Hearing Alice Turner call him shaless again, Benjamin Shaw was very angry, angry not just with words, but actually becoming shaless in action.
He reached out to pull her away from the door, planning to walk away.
Alice Turner slapped his hand away, and after doing so, she pointed at him and said, "If you don’t go to the Civil Affairs Bureau with tomorrow, I’ll just stick with you and see how you et that woman of yours tomorrow?"
If she hadn’t misjudged, the call just now was likely from that woman nad Sophie Snow.
Though she had only t that woman once, she had figured out clearly that the woman liked him a lot, and he seed to be especially patient with her.
"Feel free to tag along, as long as you don’t mind losing face." Benjamin Shaw said, reaching to pull Alice Turner once more. This ti, she slapped his hand away again. Having her do this twice in a row, anger surged within him, and he shouted at her, "Alice Turner! Enough!"
His voice was filled with anger, and his face turned quite ugly.
Benjamin Shaw’s sudden shout startled Alice Turner, who wasn’t prepared, but she quickly cald herself down and retorted without backing down, "Not enough!"
How dare he shout at her? Did he think she was a pushover, to be pinched as he pleased?
"Go be crazy on your own if it’s not enough, I don’t have ti to go crazy with you." As Benjamin Shaw reached out to pull Alice Turner again, the phone in his pocket suddenly started ringing. He instinctively looked at his phone pocket.
He had no intention of taking out the phone, nor did he intend to answer it, yet the phone kept ringing, showing no sign of stopping.
Benjamin Shaw frowned, reached out and took out the buzzing phone from his pocket. He glanced at it, his frown deepening.
Alice Turner stood right in front of him, and all of Benjamin Shaw’s small frowning movents were within her sight. She was very puzzled; who on earth was calling? Why was he reacting like this?
