Chapter 2747: Chapter 2747: Inject The Antidote

Nearly an hour later, the bedroom door finally clicked and opened. Yu Qi walked out of the room, carrying a prepared medical syringe containing the clear antidote she had just formulated inside Sere. She walked directly toward Tang Qin Hao’s side.

“I need to inject this into your body.” Yu Qi informed him while lifting the syringe slightly into the light.

“Sure.” Tang Qin Hao agreed without even the slightest shred of hesitation or doubt.

Yu Qi paused for a moment, surprised by his absolute pliance, before asking curiously, “Are you really not afraid that I might be injecting a lethal poison into your body instead?”

Tang Qin Hao looked at her altered face calmly, his gaze steady. “I believe you would never do anything to harm me.”

Those simple, absolute words caught Yu Qi pletely off guard. She stood there, momentarily stunned by his deep familial intuition, before finally snapping herself back to reality.

“…Alright.” Yu Qi nodded softly, a tender warmth entering her eyes. “Let’s get started.”

She gently held Tang Qin Hao’s bare arm and skillfully located one of his veins. Her movements were smooth, precise, and incredibly steady, demonstrating years of medical experience. Without causing him any unnecessary disfort, she carefully and slowly injected the custom antidote into his bloodstream. After withdrawing the sharp needle, she disposed of it properly into a secure container before looking back at Tang Qin Hao’s face.

“You will start feeling incredibly sleepy very soon.” Yu Qi explained gently. “Don’t try to resist it. Just close your eyes and go to sleep naturally. By tomorrow morning, the paralysing effects of the drug should have pletely disappeared, and your body will gradually return to normal.”

“Thank you.” Tang Qin Hao nodded sincerely, his voice already dropping.

Sure enough, only a few short minutes later, an overwhelming, heavy wave of drowsiness washed over his mind. His eyelids gradually became heavier and heavier with each passing second. Unable to resist the powerful sedative effects of the fresh antidote, he slowly closed his eyes and drifted off into a deep, peaceful sleep.

After confirming that her brother had pletely fallen fast asleep, Yu Qi quietly walked back into the master bedroom. A few moments later, she returned carrying a soft, plush pillow and a thick, warm blanket in her arms.

“They are for him.” Yu Qi said softly to her fiancé.

She handed the pillow directly to Long Hui. Long Hui immediately understood what she wanted him to do without needing an explanation. He carefully adjusted Tang Qin Hao’s sleeping position on the sofa, gently supporting his heavy shoulders before placing the pillow beneath his head to make him more fortable.

Once Tang Qin Hao was lying in a proper, fortable position, Yu Qi unfolded the thick blanket and carefully draped it over his resting body, making sure he was tucked in properly so that he would stay warm throughout the night.

After ensuring everything was perfectly in order, Yu Qi glanced toward the assortment of food arranged neatly on the table. Long Hui immediately noticed where her gaze had landed.

“I ordered it specifically for your brother. It looked like he had been starving for quite some time.” Long Hui answered before Yu Qi even had the chance to ask.

“Oh…” Yu Qi nodded, but then her eyes shifted toward the opened bottle of wine and the half-filled crystal glass sitting right beside it. She then asked, pointing a slender finger at the bottle. “Then… is this wine meant for my brother too?”

Long Hui shook his head smoothly.

“No. That one’s for me.” Before Yu Qi could say anything else, Long Hui added calmly, “And definitely not for you.”

“No… That is for me.” Long Hui said and immediately added, “And not for you.”

Yu Qi frowned immediately. “Why can’t I have some?” she asked, clearly displeased by what she considered unfair discrimination against her tolerance.

“Are you absolutely sure you want to drink it?” Long Hui raised one eyebrow at her, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes.

Yu Qi blinked, caught off guard.

“What exactly do you mean by asking me that?” she asked suspiciously.

“I don’t mind if you drink it,” Long Hui shrugged lightly, setting his glass down. “However, if you end up pletely losing control of yourself afterwards, you are absolutely not allowed to blame me.”

Yu Qi narrowed her eyes into dangerous slits. “Losing control?”

Long Hui slowly swirled the crimson wine inside his glass before taking another deliberate sip.

“You might end up lusting after my body.” The corners of Long Hui’s lips curved upward into a deeply teasing smile. He deliberately paused, letting the implication hang in the air before continuing. “And then… we might end up doing something else entirely. I don’t think you’d want your brother to wake up because of your voice. After all, you are quite loud whenever we are doing it.”

“No!” Yu Qi’s eyes widened in sheer horror, and her entire face instantly flushed a brilliant, burning red. She exclaimed hurriedly, waving both hands frantically in front of her. “I understand! I get it! I would not drink it! Absolutely not!”

A thoroughly satisfied, triumphant smile appeared on Long Hui’s face.

“You must be hungry too.” Long Hui gestured toward the remaining covered dishes. “There are still plenty of club sandwiches and hot chicken soup. You should eat something first.”

“Fine… Fine…” Yu Qi muttered, her face still burning with embarrassment from his scandalous teasing. “I will eat first.”

She picked up one of the sandwiches along with a warm bowl of soup before walking out toward the spacious balcony. She wanted to enjoy the cool evening breeze and the beautiful, glittering city view while quietening her racing thoughts.
