This airline was quite interesting. When Jack and JJ boarded the plane, the captain was actually welcoming passengers at the jet bridge along with the flight attendants.
Jack felt that the captain, who had a full beard and looked to be in his forties or fifties, looked sowhat familiar, but he couldn't rember which Arican TV series he had seen him in.
[A/n: He didn't watch the movie for this, so he doesn't know the plot.]
Anyway, as long as he didn't look like Tom Hanks, it was fine. Besides, this was a transoceanic flight, so it shouldn't have anything to do with the Hudson River.
It's best not to think about unnecessary things while flying.
However, after the two were seated in business class, the younger-looking flight attendant ca to their seats and proactively introduced herself.
"Hello, I'm the purser for this flight, Bonnie."
"Are you Agent Tavelor and Agent JJ?" Purser Bonnie asked, keeping her voice as low as possible.
"Yes, is there sothing you need?" Jack and JJ were both slightly taken aback. This was an Arican airline, and they had proactively identified themselves before boarding, but they hadn't expected a flight attendant to approach them directly.
"I hope you two will notice the two special passengers at the very back of the plane." Flight attendant Bonnie straightened up slightly and gestured to them with her eyes.
There was a simple partition between business class and economy class, usually separated by a curtain after takeoff, but the cabin door was still open, and there were very few passengers.
From their seats, with just a slight angle, the entire cabin was clearly visible.
In the last row at the rear of the cabin sat two Black n. One was wearing a blue shirt and had a serious expression. The other was bald, with a large beard on his face.
JJ seed to understand her aning, and a smile appeared on her face. "If you have any concerns, you can ask those two to co to business class. I think the captain wouldn't mind upgrading them for free."
Bonnie nodded gratefully to JJ, quickly walked to the captain's side, and whispered a few words in his ear.
The captain turned to look in their direction, also smiling gratefully, and nodded to them.
"What happened?" Jack asked, sowhat confused, leaning close to JJ's ear and whispering.
JJ seed a little tickled by his breath, subconsciously shrinking her neck away a bit before softly explaining, "It's about extraditing fugitives. They're worried about causing unnecessary trouble and want us to be their free guards."
Jack suddenly understood. At this mont, the purser led two n to business class and sat down next to the two of them.
[a/n: So, were they Black?, if so will they act according to the movie story(personalities, I an)]
"Interpol Agent Karam, we'll be disembarking in Tokyo and heading to Toronto. Thank you for your assistance."
The Black man in the blue shirt, seemingly accustod to a serious expression, forced a smile and thanked the two in a voice barely audible to each other.
The two politely introduced themselves briefly, and JJ even inquired about the identity of the bald, bearded Black man.
Interpol Agent Karam was clearly not a very talkative person, but firstly, he was indebted to the two FBI agents — business class was much more comfortable and it also reduced the risks during the journey.
Secondly, normally no one would refuse a pretty lady's initiative to strike up a conversation.
So Karam gave a brief introduction to the fugitive.
The bald, bearded man was nad Luis Gaspare, involved in a murder case from 15 years ago, and had recently been apprehended in Bali.
He described it simply, but Jack sensed sothing was amiss. In his past life, there was a series about a super-strong, invincible superhero.
If this bald, bearded guy changed his beard style, he would be the perfect embodint of that character.
However, Jack had only watched a few episodes; he couldn't complete it. He was fighting online with Chingchong people with their idiotic-ness.
He had no idea if the actor who played that character had ever appeared in any other television series.
But seeing two familiar faces in quick succession, Jack began to have a bad feeling and started racking his brains, trying to rember if he had seen that captain sowhere before.
"Ladies and gentlen, good evening. Welco aboard Pioneer Flight 119. This is your captain."
As the flight attendant closed the cabin door, the captain's voice echoed through the cabin.
"If you're heading to Tokyo, you've boarded the right flight. If your destination isn't Tokyo, you're in for a long morning." The captain humorously referenced the terminator during the call.
"Luckily, I know a shortcut, so we might arrive early. Once I've mastered the first few pages of the flight manual, we'll take off imdiately. Thank you."
It seed that captains or flight attendants on smaller airlines often enjoyed making these kinds of cheesy in-flight jokes, but Jack couldn't laugh at all.
Because he finally rembered who this captain was. He didn't recall the actor's na, but this face always seed associated with a bunch of action movies.
Wherever this guy went, things seed to happen. Was he going to make sothing happen this ti?
Jack couldn't recall seeing this guy as a captain in any movie.
Noticing his pale complexion, JJ nervously took his hand, then instinctively released it.
She suspected he might be acting; this wasn't their first ti flying — their first eting was on a Gulfstream business jet, and he'd been perfectly normal on their previous flight to Singapore. There was no reason for him to look so pale now. Was sothing wrong with him?
Thinking this, JJ beckoned a flight attendant to bring him a bottle of juice and handed it to him.
"Are you feeling unwell?"
Jack shook his head, watching the runway lights flash by outside the window. The plane had already begun taxiing; there was no point in doing anything now, he could only hope nothing went wrong.
"Ladies and gentlen, this is the captain. We have reached an altitude of 37,000 feet. Please let us know if you need anything."
"On behalf of Pioneer Airlines, thank you for flying with us."
JJ was sitting near the window, but Jack, sitting next to her, could also see the scenery through the round glass window.
It was nearing dawn, but the dense clouds in the troposphere, seemingly clinging to the plane's belly, were still clearly visible, with flashes of lightning occasionally breaking the silence.
