Pioneer Airlines provided each passenger with a compensation package of up to $250,000, and the crew received additional bonuses. As a token of gratitude to the two FBI agents who made significant contributions, Jack received an extra $1 million and JJ $500,000.

Although it was a small airline, it was still very wealthy. It was said that the security company to which the previous PMC team belonged was their main business, which made sense.

Jack even suspected that the C-130 used to airdrop supplies onto the island was the airline's primary aircraft.

Half a month passed quickly, and the aftermath of the air crash gradually subsided. Jack returned to his normal work and life.

There were too many people to thank, especially the Anderson family, who contributed the most besides Rossi. Jack visited them several tis, keeping Mrs. Anderson very happy.

As for Mr. Anderson, who had already guessed that both of his beloved daughters had been taken by the sa man, although he didn't particularly like this man, he was quite satisfied with the "delicacies" he taught his wife to make.

Garcia was the easiest to please. Now, the luxurious refrigerator in the BAU office had Jack's special als and extra desserts every day. It was a special al because only hers had a eagle head label.

Worried that this silly girl would gain too much weight, Jack added another student to his daily after-workout gym class, in addition to Reid.

Garcia said that since learning Jack's combat routines, she no longer needed yoga, and her new boyfriend said he was very happy. Jack still couldn't understand the connection between the two.

Leisurely days are always short-lived. When everyone heard JJ's high heels entering the office at twice the usual speed, everyone's spirits lifted.

"In the city of Grand Falls, Montana, three won have gone missing in the past 14 months: Michelle Lawford, Jennifer Hillbridge, and Darcy Cranwell."

"All were young won, white, with dark hair. Although no bodies have been found, local police, after a thorough search, can only presu they are all dead."

JJ displayed photos of several victims on the conference room screen; all were quite attractive and beautiful.

"At least we know the type of victims." Emily, seeing everyone looking at her, bit her lip sowhat uncomfortably; her appearance clearly matched the description.

"Now there's a fourth victim, Angela Miller, who disappeared this morning in front of a grocery store, along with her car. Her husband and son were shopping inside at the ti."

After JJ finished her report, she returned to her seat, took the juice Jack offered.

"This morning?" "Montana directly asked us for help?" Everyone looked puzzled. This wasn't like the local police's usual style. They were usually hesitant and wouldn't proactively ask the FBI for help unless absolutely necessary or for a major case.

"Because the killer has been found. Forty minutes after the victim was discovered missing, state troopers found Angela Miller's car on the highway."

"When the state troopers pulled over the car and tried to approach, the killer detonated a high-powered grenade, blowing himself up and sending one officer to the ICU."

JJ distributed the docunts to everyone.

"According to the other officers present, the killer was white, stocky, brown-haired, with a mustache, in his forties, and had a noticeable scar on the left side of his face."

"The victim wasn't found in the car?" Hotchner took the docunts and quickly flipped through them.

"So, Montana asked us for help hoping to find the last victim, right? After all, she was only missing for 40 minutes," Rossi said, stroking his chin.

"Trying anything as a last resort." Jack muttered.

For the local police, even if the killer committed suicide, the case would be considered solved, so it was understandable that they would delegate the troubleso task of finding a missing victim to the FBI.

"We need to leave as soon as possible." Hotchner said, pulling out his phone to call his wife.

"Jack, you'd better bring your new toy." Rossi frowned habitually.

Montana is located east of Washington and Idaho, bordering British Columbia, Canada. It's a typical impoverished and rugged state, the fourth largest in the US by area, with a population of less than a million.

So military enthusiasts may know about the Montana-class battleships, which were cancelled during World War II. This makes Montana the only state in Arican history without a battleship of the sa na.

So the US Navy jokingly calls this state "the child without toys." If it weren't for the fact that Yellowstone National Park also has a part in this state, Jack would have almost no recollection of the place.

Of course, since it's a poor and remote place, it naturally produces so unruly people. Rossi told Jack to bring back a new toy, which of course referred to the gun he brought back. Montana doesn't have a large population, but it's full of various loose right-wing militia groups.

Clatter, clatter~~~

The loud sound of the Italian card ga being shuffled echoed in the cabin. Reid, unusually, wasn't participating in the ga today, but instead was scribbling on a map.

"What are you doing?" Jack asked curiously as he carved an adorable figure.

He was currently preparing a wedding gift for Zoe and Maureen, and wanted to improve his woodworking skills to mastery before then.

Emily peeked over from the side, her face beaming with delight at the nearly finished wooden ornant. "Can I have one?"

"I'll give you a dozen when I'm done polishing them; Garcia's table is already overflowing." Jack picked up a bag filled with figurines of various shapes.

He then looked at Reid, waiting for his reply.

"This is a map analysis thod. It marks all the key points related to the case and related reports on a map, looking for patterns to narrow down the suspect's possible residences, thus finding where he's hiding his victims," Hotchner answered for Reid, but then hesitated, a hint of doubt in his voice. "But I rember this kind of analysis is done on a computer, you…"

Reid looked up, showing him his crookedly drawn diagram, "It's finished. It should be within this range."

Everyone fell silent for a mont, turning away — so continuing to play the card ga.
