When Ella scrolled through the comnts on her latest post, she expected the usual parade of insults that greeted her normally.
And she wasn’t disappointed.

[Look at her captions. Shaless woman.]
She rolled her eyes. Nothing new.
But then just as she was about to lock her phone... Sothing odd caught her attention.
Each insult had a reply from one user: @theonlysuninhersky
The userna sounded familiar for so reason, eh. It tingled so part of her brain but before Ella could grasp onto what it was, her gaze landed on the replies.
"I can’t unsee it. She is such a grizzly bear."
@theonlysuninhersky: Prettiest.
Ella blinked.
"Look at her captions. Shaless woman."
@theonlysuninhersky: Scram.
Ella’s fingers froze mid-scroll. This... She actually got herself a supporter without doing anything?
Ella had expected the hate-flood to continue for so more ti.
After a brief pause, she kept reading.
"I feel like Ella Yu’s eyes scream ’Try hard’ because she really tries too hard all the ti *lol emoji*"
@theonlysuninhersky: Your comnt screams unemploynt.
Okay. What?
The corner of Ella’s lips twitched.
She stared at the handle again. @theonlysuninhersky.
Sothing about it made her pause.
Weirdly unhinged.
She refreshed the page.
Another hater popped up: "Desperate for attention."
@theonlysuninhersky: Worthy of it.
Ella let out a startled laugh before slapping a hand over her mouth.
Who was this?
She checked for the profile picture but it was empty and there were no posts in the account as well.
The replies were way too precise. No emojis. No fluff. Just direct assassination.
Another hater popped up:
"Thinks she’s so goddess."
@theonlysuninhersky: Clearly, she is.
Ella’s followers also seed to have noticed this person by now.

Ella plopped on the bed as she scrolled the comnts.
But suddenly, one particular thread of comnts caught her attention: [Oh my god, look at the bags in the background? I spotted a huge chunk from the grand collection that she featured in back then!]
There were so replies to that comnt as well: [Yes, I recognize the orange bag! It was part of a special collection from years ago. I failed to get my hands on it.]
[Oh my god, look at those heels. Aren’t they...]
Finally!
Ella narrowed her eyes and pulled up another picture of herself that she had clicked in her apartnt. This ti, the bags, heels and outfits were completely visible in the picture.
She posted it with a caption: [Thank you for loving and supporting so much. *kiss emojis*]
Later that day, Ella went to her classes as usual. After classes, Ella was just returning to her dorm room when she bumped into soone on the way.
’’Sis!" Esther walked to her the mont she spotted her. She was accompanied by Violet who was carrying a few boxes in her hand, "I just saw your social dia account. Since when did you resu posting on it?"
"It has been a few days," Ella shrugged.
’’Why didn’t you tell ?" Esther hooked her arm around Ella’s.
"I thought you would know about it,’’ Ella calmly said.
Violet rolled her eyes, "Esther deactivated her account during exams so she had no ways of knowing. When I told her, she went through all the hate comnts you have been receiving. And then she rushed over here without wasting ti."
"Hate comnts? I haven’t been checking any," Ella turned to Esther, "I am sorry to have concerned you like this. It’s my fault for not telling you earlier.’’
Esther side-hugged Ella, "Sis, the people there are so an. They are calling you nas and abusing you constantly..."
"It doesn’t matter. Since I decided to post there again, I won’t care about such trifles..."
Esther looked at Ella and her brows furrowed slightly.
"What are these? They look beautiful~"
Esther stiffened when Ella grabbed a glass jar from the box that Violet was holding.
"Esther has customized these skincare products for based on my skin," Despite her initial displeasure, Violet patiently explained.
"Since you have so many of them, why don’t I keep one for myself?"
Violet looked at Esther. Since it was a gift from Esther, she would let her decide.
Suddenly, a cold glint flickered in Esther’s eyes but it disappeared just as quickly as it ca, "You should try it, sis!"
After Ella left, Violet turned to Esther, "Don’t you think she was easygoing today? Maybe she has changed her ways..."
"I don’t know. I can never really understand my sister because it is hard to get a gist of what she is thinking."
Violet’s footsteps slowed down, "So, you are saying that she was rely pretending just now...?"
Esther smiled bitterly. Suddenly, her phone buzzed.
"Ah, it’s a call from Mo Jun..."
Violet stiffened.
’’I almost forgot that we have a date planned for later. You can go back to the room, Violet."
Violet smiled.
"I might not be coming back tonight," Esther added and the smile on Violet’s face froze.
After Esther left, Violet stood there in a daze for so ti before she let out a bitter smile.
Her phone rang at this mont. Answering the call, she turned around and walked past Ella’s room and walked towards the other end of the hallway.
"I am doing several part ti jobs so I will try to earn the money for this sester... A job...? I told you before, Papa, I am preparing for the auditions of this drama... If I get a role in it, money won’t be a problem..."
As she reached her room door, Violet paused. There was a note stuck to the door, "Papa, I will call you later..."
On the note, a few words were clearly written: [Don’t use those products.]
Violet looked at the boxes in her hand before looking around her surroundings.
With a small frown on her face, she yanked off the note and threw it in the dustbin.
