Not that he decided to beco their leader but since he was going to be using them in his coming plans, Raith felt there was nothing bad in actually knowing them.

There was still a lot of mystery shrouding this people but when he thought about it... it was kind of cool.

...to have a bunch of unkillable roaches serving him. Not to say that they were all skilled in their own individuality.

Hans was taking Raith around, telling him more about the Divine Nightmare, about his deeds and the history of that era. How active the gods were and after the ergence of players, the gods suddenly stopped showing their presence.

Of course, Raith was not a bit interested in the blabbings of the old soulless man. There was the part where it seed like Hans was just boasting of all the good things the Divine Nightmare had done.

He was dead, he was dead. Nothing was ever going to bring him back to life again. Oh, wait... considering the so much contradicting laws of nature that Raith seed to be coming across these days... he was sort of eradicating so stereotypic thoughts away from his mind.

Who can tell what will happen? Up until so few months, ago he could wake up from death himself... weeks? years? days? who knows... the timing on that damned plain had ruined everything that connotes ti in his head.

"Sir are you listening?"

Hans moved closer to Raith who seed to have zoned out for a couple of seconds.

Retracing his eyes back from conscious oblivion, Raith looked at the man with a slightly raised brow.

"I was listening to you... I was just thinking about sothing." He retorted as he moved forward.

The stronghold for most part was made with wood, but Hans had explained earlier that Divine Nightmare defeated a horde of bete-noire grade wooden monsters. They had a wooden body that not even the strongest of tals could carve into.

Divine Nightmare of course was filled with a lot of surprises. He defeated a bunch of them and the most part of this stronghold was built with their carcass.

Now, the whole place was archaic and slling old but it had not lost its durability one bit... too bad it seed too like so bandits hideout.

But it really was impressive.

’I wonder how strong he must have been for him to defeat several bete-noire monsters.’

Raith thinking of the one he fought. The dreadsoul was strong and he almost wanted to doubt that those bunch of wooden creatures would be as strong as it.

But there was a reason why grading were made. Monsters on the sa grade may not necessarily have equal amount of strength but they always eventually are not too far from each other in terms of how terrific they can be.

Plus a bunch of bete-noire, not just one.

Raith had to admit this one, Divine Nightmare must have been incredibly strong.

He looked to the side, the small group of ragged machos were working out and began to flex their muscles the mont they saw Raith and Hans coming.

When Raith got to them, they stopped all they were doing and bowed on all fours.

"Great boss!!"

Raith nodded. It was all too weird for him. Back with the Therutians and now these guys. He doubted if he would be able to get used to being paid so much respect.

’I wonder if it’s just my fate to be a leader, I keep walking into scenarios like this and it’s utter annoying.’

First with the dark army, then with Therutians, imagine Theta’s father inviting him to be a village head and now these guys? Raith felt like he probably needed to consider going against fate so few tis.

Maybe that will knock so sense into the dude’s or bitch’s head. Which ever one he was. Maybe he was taking the nonsense they were throwing at him all too much.

Maybe all that shit needs to stop.

Raith shook his head.

’Let’s be conservative... going against fate?’

He was still in the process of becoming a better and stronger warrior. Soul force does give him a very dangerous confidence in his new abilities... there was so much that he would be able to accomplished as a player with this new powers, upgraded powers.

Thinking about it, Raith couldn’t help but smile a little bit. The machos might have been mistaken, thinking he was impressed with their muscled body.

Raith however wasn’t conscious of what they thought or what they were doing, his mind was sowhere else. Now, that he had the chance... Thard - Harl was gone.

Should he not be finding the way ho?

’Right’

A slight frown of determination ford on Raith’s face, he turned to Hans.

"Can I see you for a mont...?"

Hans eyes widened with light, he bowed his head lowly a little, his hands glued to his side.

"Definitely great one."

"First of all, I’d like you all to stop with thr great one thing. It makes a little less uncomfortable thank you. And secondly, what I want to talk to you is nothing important. Have you guys ever heard of a place called Earth... ugh... a dinsion I guess."

Hans raised his head, staring at Raith dumbfoundedly. The macho n were also staring with the sa dumfoundedness.

Raith raised his brow a little.

"Is it weird that I ntioned it?"

"No no not at all. Nothing is weird at all? It just that... ntioning a place like that... it’s sort of nor expected by a strong person like you. Do you intend to conquer the dinsion called earth too?"

Raith frowned, "no... why would I want to conquer a dinsion?"

Hans laughed jokingly, "ah ah, I was scared for a mont. You know players these days are fond of conquering dinsional territories and since you are very strong I naturally thought so, if not why would you be asking about such an insignificant dinsion."

’Okay now. I’m getting offended.’

Raith however, did not show any emotion of sort on his face, he stared at them blankly while the jokingly laughed off the matter.

’Just how pathetic was earth in the eyes of these guys... why?’

Was what went through his mind.

After they t the unfunny gaze in his eyes, they shafully ca to a stop. Coughing.

"We are sorry, we couldn’t just shake away that the boss was asking about such a pathetic dinsion."

Raith’s face beca dark for a mont, of course he imdiately switched him with a wicked smile, his eyes tightly shut.

"And why is this place pathetic if I may ask?"

One of the macho man said to another:

"Is it just or the whole place suddenly got heavier."

"Ha... ha... haha..." Hans’ laugh broke as he slowly realized that it was getting less funnier by the second. A pearl of sweat rolled down his cheek as his eyes t Raith’s dark face.
