Raith folded his arms and watched from the balcony as the soulless ran helter-skelter.

For most part they seed relieved. The tension that bore down on their heart due to the confrontation with the sky lord was gone.

He had by all ans avoided a direct fight with an experienced player.

Raith felt relieved at the sa ti dissatisfied.

He wanted to exchange a few strikes at least.

He sneered and lowered his gaze, looking at Othorman and Hans as they walked into the building.

’Oatmilk... what’s his na again?’ He scratched his head.

After spending so much ti in that barbaric plane, and tasked his brain with so much calculations, now he just felt ntally tired that nothing seed to stay for a reasonable amount of ti.

’I think I just need a long rest, I should be fine after that.’

Othorman appeared from behind and said, softening his tone:

"All is ready... we can depart any mont from now"

Raith jacked out of his head and threw his head back with a deep frown.

"Fuck! I can’t get used to that!" He walked past him.

Othorman followed.

"Is there anything we are waiting for?" He asked as he caught up with him.

"Yes, the fairy, I’m waiting for the village chief’s consent to hide the rest of the soulless in the village. Since a god has eyes on the place, the sky lord wouldn’t move anyhow..."

Othorman’s mouth dropped for a mont, then they carved out a smile.

"I am grateful for your thoughfulness."

Raith paused as he was about climbing down the stairs, and looked back at the soulless:

"What do you an thanks? I should be the one thanking you guys." He threw his face front quickly and brisked downward.

’I hate these honestly...’

Since they made him feel very embarrassed he despised doing it. But after seeing how much of a tantrum Reeves put out and the soulless decision to still follow him regardless, he couldn’t help but feel like he owes them.

Moreso, they’d be escorting him to Felfhiem.

That’s a lot... for soone they never knew.

He got to the first floor where Hans was, packing up his backpack.

Imdiately Raith ca, he straightened his back and allowed a sweet smile.

"Lord Raith, are we ready to move?"

Raith blinked for a couple of seconds.

’Darn, he looks really excited.’

Looking at the delighted look on the poor soulless’ face, his heart squird with pity.

’Do these guys think they are going on an adventure or sothing?’

He of all people knew what kind of place Felfhiem was. And most likely, his visit to that place would not be peaceful.

Which he was very prepared for. If it would cause him unleashing all the skills within his arsenal, Felfhiem will shake and his presence will be announced through that demonic realm.

A mighty storm was on the way and seeing this guy smile about it did not make Raith feel too good.

"They’ll be fine...hopefully" he whispered to himself, and turned.

The door swung open and Theta appeared in his sight at that mont.

"That was fast..."

She responded, her chest rising and falling, "I, I, I was able... persuade father. He..." He paused to catch her breath, leaning on her knees.

"Easy easy." Raith enunciated.

She rose, "Father agreed to let them stay. You don’t have to escorting them. Don’t worry, they can just find their way to the village, they will be welcod and protected."

Raith raised his chin, his eyes scrunched up with a doubtful intense. Then he dropped his chin and nodded.

"Okay, thank you Theta."

"You are always welco."

Raith looked at her again.

"That bag... is it really a great idea to have you follow us? Aren’t you supposed to be the guardian fairy of the village?"

Theta shook her head with a following finger gesture.

"No, at all," She opened her eyes, "everyone makes the mistake thinking that a guardian should be bounded to the land She is guarding..."

’Isn’t that only expected?’ Raith raised a brow.

"...but that is wrong. A guardian should be allowed to step outside, experience the harshness of the world and also grow. I want to go on adventures with you, the one whom I belong. The future village chief."

"Stop, don’t call that."

"Vilage chief."

"Stop it" Raith seethed.

Silence ensued between the two... three, four, Hans and Othorman staying behind unexisting themselves from the scene.

Raith stared deep into Theta’s eyes.

"Suit yourself, and mind you, we are not going for so vocational adventure, this could be really dangerous so it’d do you all so good to think really hard about your decision to follow ." He added, glancing back at Hans and Othorman, then he walked out.

Theta jumped.

"Yes! I am going with him!"

Raith stood still in a distance away, as the soulless people were marched out of their their stronghold.

Instead of leaving it to them, he had insisted that it be done by Hans and Othorman and to be sure that the village chief really consented to it.

Watching the group of people have to leave their ho because of sothing he had done suddenly didn’t settle well with him.

He thought deeply.

Was this the cause of his own actions?

Could he have handled things better but he refused to because of his pride and childishness?

And now it was causing these people their ho and its warmth.

Different expressions sat on their faces as the marched out in a column, headed by Othorman and tailed by Hans. So looked dull, others looked indifferent, many sad and sorrowful, glancing back at intervals.

They would most definitely miss this stronghold.

’It’s not like they’ll be gone forever? They will co back after all this is resolved. I will co back after getting to earth and help...’

Suddenly he stopped and frowned, lowering his head.

The frown was for himself, he rembered how he had promised to co and save Volmak, only to be swept away by the activities of earth.

Under the guise of getting strong enough, he enjoyed the new life that was offered to him, the attention, the privilege and totally forgot about his master.

One whose suffering was entirely his fault.

The reality of that deed dawned on him... and he felt disgusted at himself for daring to make another promise of such.

He hated his gut... and hoped that he’d be able to do sothing... a retribution of so sort.

That is why his visit to Felfhiem would not be peaceful.

And he was ready for what would happen, he won’t die... no, he won’t.

He would stay alive at all cost but he won’t hesitate to wreak havoc in that realm and then leave after getting Volmak...

If he’s still alive.

Sothing however bothered him... sothing Thard - Harl had said about Volmak not needing his help.

His guess was that Thard - Harl and the old man had once cross paths and Thard - Harl thinks Volmak is strong enough to ward off anyone on his own.

If he isn’t doing it... then it’s only because he does not want to.

But still...

Relaxing because of that notion felt like an excuse to run away from the responsibilities offered by the consequences of his actions.

So he shook his head and cleared the thought.

’I’ll go to Felfhiem, find Volmak, rescue him and take him to Korea with ’ he resolved himself, as he watched the last of the soulless group march out of the gate.

As the gate closed, he was about to go back inside to finish the rest of his preparation then a smile curled on his face as he saw the cranky soulless trudging towards him.

"What is funny?" Reeves hissed as he got to where Raith was standing.

"Nothing, I’m sorry for smiling, what’s up?"

Reeves raised a brow, ’he’s apologizing?’ He stared intensely at Raith for a couple of seconds then spoke:

"The only reason why I have decided to be a part of this journey is to stop them from following you."

Raith scratched his temple, puzzled.

’What jargons is he spitting...? Well, I guess anything works as far as he won’t be an hindrance’

He sighed.

"Okay, I guess?"

Reeves scowled at him.

"I know you have nothing but dangerous sches that may claim our lives and I’m going to stop you from destroying us."

Raith stared, deadpanned.

"O—Kay... I guess?"

"So you better..."

"Don’t push your luck. I’ve heard you already, get ready and suit yourself."

He enunciated and walked past the cranky soulless.

Reeves turned his gaze, fuming with rage, he watched Raith till his form entered the main building.
