Now reading: Chapter 24—Fake God from SSS-Class Summoner: I only Summon Primordial Spirits, a Fantasy novel by HaloPrimus.

"I think it is exactly what we are thinking," Pri said from inside the Nascent Space.

"Is he attempting to make sign a contract and get a summons?" Laden said again, trying to confirm from Pri.

"Stop repeating the sa thing and actually do sothing," Pri berated.

"Do sothing like this wha—" Laden hadn’t even finished speaking when certain thoughts surfaced in his mind.

He had read quite a bit of books where the character acts like so sort of God despite being extrely weak.

"It’s worth a try," he thought.

Having made that decision, Laden extended his mind towards that soothing energy he felt in his mind as if he wanted to communicate with it.

The instant the two made contact, Laden imdiately felt so sort of connection being made.

Nobody had to tell Laden before he realized sothing from the connection he just established with that figure.

"A stray human," Laden said in a haughty voice, trying to mimic Pri.

"Who’s there, what’s that, what’s going on?" Laden heard the voice say from the other side.

"What’s going on shouldn’t be the concern at this point; the question I should ask is why you are here, human," Laden responded, trying his utmost best to maintain his figure and tone.

"Uhm... I am... I am trying to get a new summon," the voice managed to say.

Laden could feel the fear emanating from the man’s voice, making him wonder.

"Why is he so scared though?" Laden muttered.

"How would you feel if you had soone appear while you were having a bath, completely tower over you, and speak to you while watching you completely naked?" Pri asked.

"How did you expect to feel?" Laden retorted angrily.

"That’s exactly how he feels now."

Laden suddenly realized he might have been silent for too long, making the person fear even more.

"Haa, a summoner. It’s not every ti one of those strays into this place," he said.

"You must be special then."

"I wonder if you would be capable of doing it," Laden said in a slow, depressed voice.

"Is there sothing you need my help with, Great One?" the voice asked, still in its tensed state.

"Great one? Oh wow, that felt nice," Laden thought to himself while he smiled.

"Let’s milk so more praises then," Laden thought.

"I don’t think you would be able to do i—" Laden wasn’t able to finish his words when he heard Pri’s voice.

"The connection is destabilizing; I don’t think you can keep this up," he said.

Despite feeling regret that he had to end his enjoynt so fast, Laden felt the need to finish his performance with a very grand exit.

"It seems it’s the ti for the eting," he said in an intentionally aloof tone.

"Those damn pesky gods," and then he went silent.

Laden felt the connection between him and the person slowly grow thinner until it felt like just a tiny thread.

"It’s gone," Laden said.

"But there’s sothing remaining; you should be able to call him back if you want to," Pri said from the Nascent Space.

"No, no, no, don’t let us do that. That was enough fun for the day, wasn’t it?" Laden said with a smile.

He watched as the translucent ball of light slowly vanished from its position, but he could still feel that sa connection.

"I should be able to call him over anyti," Laden muttered.

"But wait, wasn’t he about to get a new summon? Has he given up on that?" Laden wondered for a bit, but the thought was quickly pushed to the back of his mind.

"Pri, what else do we do now?" Laden asked as he turned around to head in a random direction.

"We battle, more battle." Pri shouted.

"We have an approximate ten percent acclimatization after that battle, making our total amount about twenty percent," Pri reported.

"I don’t know if that was bad news or good news, but it should be good news since we are making progress," Laden said while he scanned.

While he moved, Laden’s mind wandered to the voice that brought him here and even gave him his current mission; from that point, he gravitated to the corrupted beast, and then finally a question popped up.

"Are those corrupted wolf beasts the major cause of chaos the voice was talking about?"

"From those words, it seems this isn’t the end," Laden thought.

In the real world not too far away from Laden’s location, soone, a brown-headed man, opened his eyes and looked at the Summoning Crystal in front of him.

"Did I just et a god?" the person muttered.

"Scratch that; he called gods pesky, so he must be higher than those people."

"Have I, Jones, finally chanced upon a windfall?" he said to himself.

"I just hope he actually deems worthy of the task; any dreg he can offer will be an absolute treasure to ," he thought while he stood up to leave the room.

Outside the room, a man dressed in a Butler uniform approached Jones with extrely courteous steps.

"How was the summoning ceremony, Lord Jones?" the butler said with a deep bow.

"Ohh true, I was actually supposed to find a summon," Jones said to himself.

"I can do that later; this current experience is worth multiple tis more than a summon," he dismissed while he moved away with light steps.

Back in the Spirit World, Laden had strolled all around in the Spirit World, but he couldn’t find any spirit beast or any life at all.

"This place is totally barren," he muttered.

"I guess it’s ti to leave. Pri," Laden said.

"Though I am reluctant to accept, there’s nothing for us here anymore for now; let’s just go," Pri consented.

Laden didn’t move further; he just plopped on the ground and then moved his mind towards the tattoo on his chest and activated it to leave.

The series of events that happened the last ti happened again, and in the blink of an eye, Laden was back in his room.

The mont he opened his eyes, Laden couldn’t close them back as he stared outside in shock.

"What the hell is going on?" he muttered.
