From Morning Garden to Sumr Sutton’s place, even at the fastest speed, it would take nearly two hours.
Adrian Walyon stared at the ssage sent by Sumr Sutton for quite a while, and without minding the inconvenience in the middle of the night, he drove straight there.
It was already late at this hour.
After such a long drive, by the ti he reached where Sumr Sutton was, it was already three in the morning.
The place she was at was a delicate handmade shop. Through the clean glass, Adrian Walyon saw her with her back towards him.
Sumr Sutton seed focused on doing sothing, occasionally consulting with the clerk beside her.
The clerk patiently spoke to her for a bit, and Sumr Sutton then buried her head and continued crafting.
Such a handmade shop would usually close by ten.
But tonight, seemingly just for her, the shop remained open at midnight, waiting for her to finish her creation.
The clerk did not participate in the crafting process, only standing by for guidance, letting Sumr Sutton do all the handiwork herself.
From Adrian Walyon’s angle, he couldn’t see what she was making, only saw her occasionally lift her face, smiling at the clerk with a sense of achievent.
Adrian Walyon stood outside the shop, didn’t disturb, just watched her quietly.
Sumr Sutton, with her back to him, was still busy. Despite the late hour, she seed full of energy, showing no sign of weariness.
Adrian Walyon stayed outside with her, however long she worked, he accompanied her equally long.
Eventually, as the sky turned a light gray, it was beginning to brighten.
Sumr Sutton seed to have finished her creation. She yawned a little wearily, handed the item to the clerk for packaging, and then carried it out of the shop.
As soon as she ca out, she saw Adrian Walyon standing outside. She was montarily stunned, not expecting him to actually co.
Adrian Walyon squinted, his gaze on her was sowhat deep.
He seed to understand the purpose of her visit there tonight.
Sumr Sutton stared at him blankly, having not expected him to be there at this hour, she was dumbfounded for a few seconds.
"Why are you here?"
Adrian Walyon didn’t explain, he grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the car.
"As a married woman, try not coming ho so late next ti!" He spoke angrily, but his actions didn’t quite match his tone.
The Northtown morning was a bit cold, Sumr Sutton’s hand was as cold as an icicle.
After grabbing her hand, Adrian Walyon felt her coldness and covered it with his palm, rubbing it to warm her up.
This made Sumr Sutton montarily unsure if he was angry or not.
"Get in the car!" Adrian Walyon gave her a push and directly helped her into the car.

With the heater on, Adrian Walyon slowly started the car.
On the streets of Northtown, pedestrians were already starting to walk.
The shop scents of breakfast could be slled from the street.
The whole city was still very quiet, accompanied only by the soft sound of music inside the car.
Suddenly, Sumr Sutton rather enjoyed the tranquility.
Adrian Walyon didn’t ask about her store activities. Neither of them slept that night, but after a two-hour drive back to Morning Garden, he carried her inside.
Sumr Sutton, having not slept all night, fell into a deep sleep while leaning against him.
Adrian Walyon carried her to the bedroom, laid her on the bed, covered her with a blanket, and stared at her for a while, then his eyes moved to the gift box she brought back.
What exactly was she busy with tonight?
