As Miguel's voice fell, over a hundred Spider-n simultaneously dropped into combat stances. The sheer weight of their collective pressure made Gwen and Felicia tense up instinctively.
Only Peter remained relaxed, his smile unchanged. "Done with the small talk?"
"If you're finished..."
Whoosh—!
In the blink of an eye, Peter materialized directly in front of Spider-Man 2099.
"Goodnight~"
Peter's speed was so blinding that Miguel, who lacked a traditional Spider-Sense, broke into a cold sweat.
However, he possessed superhuman sight and physical attributes that far exceeded most Spiders. In that split second, he managed to force his arms into a defensive guard.
This guy isn't even a Spider-Man. So what if he's fast? I just need to tank this hit, and then it's my turn! Miguel thought with gritted teeth.
His confidence wasn't baseless. In the Spider-Society, there were plenty of rebellious, high-tier Spiders who loved to cause trouble, but none were his match. That was why he was the leader.
But in the next second...
BOOM!
Accompanied by a piercing sonic boom, Peter's fist connected.
The mont the punch landed, Miguel's forearms twisted into a sickening, unnatural angle. He coughed up a spray of blood in mid-air, his body hurtling backward until he slamd into the concrete wall of the underground lab. The impact carved a massive, terrifying crater.
At the center of the indentation, Miguel's body was embedded like a fresco, so deep that a normal person wouldn't be able to pry him out.
In a single exchange, the strongest mber of the Spider-Society had been nearly neutralized.
Gulp.
The sound of soone swallowing hard echoed loudly in the sudden silence. Then, an anonymous voice shouted:
"Everyone together! Take him down!"
Thwip thwip thwip thwip—!
Instantly, a sky-blotting barrage of webbing shot from every direction, turning the underground lab into a literal spider's nest.
Dense webs sealed off every possible path of escape for Peter. Simultaneously, dozens of Spider-n lunged from every conceivable angle.
Against this level of coordination, any monster or villain would have been crushed. But Peter... was an existence beyond their imagination.
He let out a cold snort.
In the next mont, a pitch-black, tallic substance flowed over his body like a dark tide.
Full-Body Armant Haki!
Dozens of fists and kicks rained down on him, yet Peter didn't budge an inch. Conversely, the attacking Spiders winced in pain, feeling as if they had punched solid alloy plates.
Realization dawned on them, and panic set in. "What... what kind of power is this?"
"Is he immune to physical attacks?!"
"How are we supposed to fight this?!"
The Spiders felt a growing sense of dread. Peter, anwhile, was intent on making that dread a reality.
"Ti's up. Now, as your host, let show you so proper hospitality~"
Peter cracked his neck, the sound echoing sharply. He deactivated the Wizard armor and slamd his palm onto the Omnitrix on his wrist.
Symbiote Mode: 100% Mimicry!
Puff puff puff—
With a series of muffled shifts, Peter's symbiote form warped and expanded until he took on a form resembling the legendary Nezha—Three Heads and Six Arms!
The mont the transformation finished, Peter vanished.
Soru!
"Watch out!" a Spider-Man scread, his Spider-Sense alerting him to a catastrophe.
But then again, who among them didn't have Spider-Sense? If that sense were enough to save them, they would have overwheld him long ago.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Peter was a ghost, weaving through the dense formation of Spider-n. He didn't use complex techniques—just raw, direct punches, kicks, elbows, and knees. Yet, not a single Spider could block him.
With the symbiote's strength multiplier combined with the combat experience he'd gathered from fighting the likes of Kyogoku Makoto and various multiversal threats, he was a tiger among sheep.
One Spider-Man had just managed to track Peter's movent on his retinas when a black iron fist imprinted itself on his face. The force was perfectly asured—just enough to knock him senseless without cracking his skull.
Another Spider threw a heavy rock from behind, but Peter's two extra heads weren't just for show. He tracked the movent instantly, and his four other arms unleashed a relentless flurry of strikes, turning the poor "Little Spider" into a swollen ss.
In the crowd, Peter beca a highly efficient Spider-Exterminator. No matter the variant, no matter the special ability, they were all ruthlessly crushed.
Cough, cough!
While Peter was busy clearing the floor, Miguel finally "pried" himself off the wall. He watched the carnage, his heart pounding with shock and a growing, desperate anger.
One man was dismantling the entire Spider-Society. It was absurd—yet it was happening right in front of him.
Miguel scrambled to his feet, his handso face twisting behind his mask. He had lost—utterly and completely.
No... I can't give up! For the sake of this universe! To prevent the tragedy I saw with my own eyes! I have to do sothing! I have to stop this madman!
It's... for the greater good!
His eyes fell on the deactivated "Artificial Sun." A fanatical light ignited in his gaze. While Peter was occupied with the others, Miguel sprinted toward the cooling sphere of fusion energy.
If you interrupted the Canon Event, then I will restore it myself! If I have to make sure you and the Police Captain die here to keep the universe safe, then so be it!
These are... necessary sacrifices!
Miguel's movent was stealthy, managing to evade Peter's imdiate attention during the heat of the brawl. However, soone else spotted him.
"Hey! What are you doing? Stop right there!"
The voice belonged to the inventor of the "Artificial Sun"—Otto Octavius!
