In the deep forest, Luo Zheng stared in shock as the target vanished without a trace in an instant. He quickly issued the order to open fire, but since no one fired around the forest, it was clear that no one had the chance. This made Luo Zheng's expression more grave. Seeing Shadow in pursuit, he quickly lowered his voice and said, "Mountain Eagle, have your n spread out and conceal themselves in place. Hook, your n spread out around as well, hide and await orders."
"Understood!" Mountain Eagle and Hook replied in hushed tones.
"Everyone else, follow as the spearhead, advance and search with the captain." Luo Zheng continued to order quietly, darting out of cover and charging forward.
Ahead, Shadow was surprised that the opponent could block his close combat attack and wasn't slow at all. His battle intent surged, and he persisted in the chase, holding his gun at shoulder height aid at the target ahead. But he couldn't find an opportunity to fire; the target moved quickly and seed to know exactly when Shadow would open fire, continuously using the surrounding trees to hide their shape, giving Shadow no chance.
The sniper not only had superb gun skills but also a keen ability to read people. Although Shadow had excellent shooting skills, he was slightly inferior to a top-tier sniper, which could make the difference in life and death on the battlefield. In a contest of masters, it's often this small margin that makes the difference.

Suddenly, Shadow sensed soone else coming from further away, panicking slightly. He cautiously peeked ahead and discovered two people running at high speed toward them, like hungry wolves in the jungle exuding lethal intent. Startled, he felt the battle spirit surge even stronger as he swiftly gestured to Luo Zheng behind him.
Luo Zheng saw two enemies appearing ahead and was puzzled. Why only two? Where were the others? Sensing soone behind him, Luo Zheng turned to find Shadow, Drunkard, and Snow Fox. Quickly signaling, he directed all three to spread out and hide, ready for action.
Not knowing the enemy situation, Luo Zheng dared not move rashly. He gestured to Shadow to proceed cautiously, glanced at the tall surrounding trees, slung his sniper rifle over his back, and swiftly climbed onto a hidden tree branch to continue surveying. Yet, he couldn't spot any sign of the enemy, which deeply alard Luo Zheng as he continued the diligent observation, not overlooking any detail.
"Cover , guys," Shadow muttered in frustration before anyone could agree. He dashed forward, heading straight for the earlier target's hiding place.
Alard, Luo Zheng and the others quickly aid their scopes forward. Through the sniper scope, Luo Zheng noticed Shadow darting forward several ters in re flashes, too fast for the naked eye to perceive. In such frightening speed, targeting was impossible, indeed the perfect assault strategy, allowing Luo Zheng to finally exhale, remaining vigilant.
The earlier ambush had left Shadow fuming. Now faced with two new, seemingly formidable enemies, his anger intensified. He darted toward the target; the hidden prey noticed Shadow closing in, but had no chance to shoot and grimly retreated.
Furious at the fleeing enemy, Shadow unleashed a barrage of gunfire at the target. The battle lines were already exposed; hiding was pointless. The shots forced the target to dodge and cover while Shadow pursued relentlessly. Suddenly, he felt imnse danger crashing over him, his sprinting body twisting erratically as he tore sideways, diving behind a tree.
"Bang!" A gunshot rang out, hitting the tree ahead. Shadow glanced at the struck tree, grateful. Just one step further, and he would have run into the bullet, potentially crippled or dead. Looking towards the shot's origin, he realized it was enemy reinforcents ambushing. Uttering a furious howl, he charged forward again.
The enemy sniper hadn't expected Shadow to evade a comrade's surprise attack nor his fearless assault. Transfixed by fright, retreating further risked being gunned down, and staying put forced close combat. A sniper reduced to hand-to-hand combat was a bitter pill to swallow.
Shadow ignored such concerns, closing in on the target with his speed advantage. His gun swept the target's hiding place repeatedly, pinning them behind a tree without movent, buying ti for his charge. As for the other two enemies, Shadow trusted Luo Zheng and others to handle them.
Soon, Shadow reached the target's hiding spot. Shooting one-handed, he swiftly pulled out a grenade, prid it, and threw it, then dodged to safety. Monts before the grenade exploded, the target burst out, sprinting sideways. Shadow sneered, pushing forcefully off the ground, racing after them.
With a deafening explosion, the grenade went off, but everyone had already cleared the blast radius, none glancing back at the site. In pursuit, Shadow watched the opponent fire backward, their muzzle remarkably aid at him without looking. Shadow quickly sidestepped twice, drawing his pistol.
"Thud Thud Thud!" Shadow unleashed a rapid burst, sending three bullets in a pattern that sealed the target's three escape routes.
