Under the moonlight, Luo Zheng suddenly pounced from two ters away from his target, like a cheetah. His large hand covered the opponent's mouth, and he unhesitatingly slashed with his military knife held in reverse, spraying a jet of blood. He pressed firmly on the body of his target, immobilizing him while his cold eyes scanned five ters ahead where two targets lay in ambush with a machine gun, likely the gunner and his assistant.

Seconds later, Luo Zheng felt the person beneath him cease moving. Without a glance, he sprang up and lunged forward, casting a dark shadow. Seeing one man turning back in surprise, Luo Zheng fiercely punched him with the fist holding the military knife. The hard hilt of the knife brutally struck the man's temple, killing him instantly on the ground. With a backhand stroke, he slashed the throat of another target who had turned to look.

The man clutched his throat desperately, panic accelerating his heartbeat as it pushed blood violently out from his throat in a spray. His hands couldn't contain it. His horrified scream was muted as a rush of air entered, forcing more blood out.

"Huh, huh!" The man grasped his throat, watching Luo Zheng in utter horror, only to find that Luo Zheng didn't even glance his way. His consciousness faded, dying without knowing the identity of his killer, leaving this world with reluctance and trepidation, gradually closing his eyes as his body went still.

Under the moonlight, seeing that his comrades had successfully taken down their targets and without anyone nearby on alert, Luo Zheng breathed a sigh of relief. His icy gaze beca more determined as he crawled forward, silent and unseen like a python. In his camouflage suit, he resembled a re mound of earth, unnoticed by anyone—the lethal Ghost had arrived.

Soon, Luo Zheng approached a target who was lying low in a depression, vigilantly watching the front without noticing him from behind. Luo Zheng glanced at Jackal sitting quietly about twenty ters away, his expression turning cold. With powerful double-handed action, he pounced like a Flood Dragon bursting from its cave, his military knife swiftly slitting the target's throat.

After making sure the target's body was motionless, Luo Zheng saw a towel tied around the man's neck, likely for wiping sweat. He pulled it off, now soaked with blood, and wrapped it nonchalantly around the muzzle of his pistol. With the suppressor and the towel, the sound would be even quieter. Then, he crawled towards Jackal.

The fact that Jackal had led the Wolf King's n here proved he was not to be underestimated. Not eliminating him would an danger for everyone. After crawling about ten ters, Luo Zheng stopped and carefully surveyed his surroundings. He noted that his comrades had silently eliminated nearly half of the targets; the rest were insignificant.

Thus, Luo Zheng no longer waited, suddenly bursting forth, sprinting towards Jackal. Imdiately alert, Jackal turned to Luo Zheng, his eyes filled with a murderous rage as he howled. The surrounding n beca alert, turning around. Luo Zheng hadn't expected Jackal to be so vigilant; missing the chance for a sneak attack, he decisively raised his gun and aid at Jackal, calmly pulling the trigger.

"Pff, pff, pff!" The pistol made a muted sound, and bullets whistled through the air. At less than ten ters, this distance posed no challenge for Luo Zheng. Jackal swiftly dodged the bullets, evidently familiar with firearms. However, the proximity was too close, and Luo Zheng fired too quickly. A bullet hit Jackal in the abdon, forcing a painful howl from him. Another bullet struck his eye.

The bullet instantly penetrated Jackal's head, churning as it hit resistance. Jackal collapsed to the ground, uttering a mournful cry. anwhile, people around quickly turned their guns. As Luo Zheng threw himself to the ground, Batsu and others fired, a flurry of bullets flying over Luo Zheng's prone form, smashing down alert targets, killing them instantly.

As gunfire erupted, the stealth attack beca pointless. Driven by a thirst for revenge, Batsu charged with two comrades, fiercely attacking and accurately shooting the targets. Aware of the dire situation, Luo Zheng didn't hesitate. After falling, he aid and fired at any visible targets, killing them one by one.

Almost simultaneously, Lan Xue and others also charged, firing together. They quickly killed the handful of remaining n. Lan Xue rushed to Luo Zheng, his face full of concern, and seeing Luo Zheng unhard, he fully relaxed. Pulling Luo Zheng up, he said, "Why risk your life like this? Be more careful in the future; don't keep making people worry. What's next?"

"It's fine. That Jackal must be quite skilled to lead his team here and ambush us. We couldn't settle down without killing him. Now that it's done, let's clean up the battlefield. I'll contact the team ahead to see if they want to join us," Luo Zheng said as he patted the dirt off himself, looking relaxed.

"Be careful, and let Brother Mountain Eagle cover you. I'll handle things here," Lan Xue said with concern.

"Okay," Luo Zheng replied, looking up into the distance. Under the murky night, it seed as if soone was approaching. Startled, Luo Zheng raised his sniper scope to observe and indeed saw a man carefully sprinting towards them, changing his route intermittently, apparently wary of being sniped. He then shouted, "Brother Mountain Eagle."

"Here," Mountain Eagle responded as he ran over.

"Cover ," Luo Zheng whispered, looking ahead. Understanding the cue, Mountain Eagle nodded and imdiately searched for a sniping position. Luo Zheng walked briskly forward, his cold gaze turning cautious. Soon, he saw the other party taking cover and called out loudly, "Who's there ahead?"

"Huaxia Country's team. Which country are you from?" Luo Zheng shouted sternly.

"Don't shoot, I'm coming over," the other person yelled, quickly running towards them.

Luo Zheng's gaze passed over the figure coming towards him, looking behind him. He faintly sensed a sniper concealed there, targeting him. He couldn't help but smile wryly; these guys were really cautious. He stayed still to avoid any misunderstandings. Shortly, a dark and burly man ran over. He was built like a bull, and his already dark complexion had been sared with paint, making his face even glossier. A pair of clear, black-and-white eyes flickered with caution.

"You were nearly ambushed; we were passing by and helped you," Luo Zheng said calmly, glancing at his team mbers cleaning up the battlefield and staying alert.

The other looked at the cleaned-up battlefield, his face changing slightly, showing a trace of gratitude. "Thank you for your help. We're from Tu Country's team. We didn't even realize we were being targeted. Without you guys, we would have been in trouble," he said.

"It's not certain. A fierce battle was inevitable. It seed like they were waiting for reinforcents, so we quietly handled it for you. You don't mind, do you?" Luo Zheng said politely.

"You're joking. We rember the favor of the help. The enemy was stronger than we expected. Be careful yourselves. My na is Tu Kulan, the captain. I'm glad to et you. If there's nothing else, let's part ways here," the other said, indicating his intention to leave.
