Gradually, the speedboat stopped, and Luo Zheng shook his sowhat dazed head, focusing his gaze, he saw that everyone else on the speedboat had been thrown into the sea, leaving blood everywhere in the water. So of the hijackers were desperately swimming away, while others floated motionlessly nearby. Luo Zheng shivered involuntarily and quickly scrambled up, searching everywhere for a gun. The speedboat had already stalled, and all the weapons had fallen into the sea.
"Are you alright?" a worried voice shouted.
The voice sounded familiar, and Luo Zheng turned around in surprise. His vision was a bit blurry. Shaking his sowhat dazed head, he vaguely recognized it as Lan Xue swimming towards him. He couldn't help feeling ward, considering she had chased after him in such circumstances. He quickly shouted, "Are you okay? Co over here."
Soon, Lan Xue swam over and climbed onto the speedboat, scanning Luo Zheng anxiously. Once assured he wasn't hurt, she smiled with relief and pulled him into her arms as if afraid of losing him, tears streaming down her face as she scolded indignantly, "You scared to death just now. I'm glad you're fine, so glad."
Luo Zheng felt Lan Xue trembling, clearly worried. He smiled gratefully and gently patted her shoulder, saying tenderly, "Don't worry, I was lucky. I managed to grab the handrail and wasn't thrown off. Just did a couple of sorsaults in the air, I'm fine. I'm quite fortunate, right?"
"Yeah," Lan Xue murmured softly, her gaze shifting to the hijackers trying to swim over, her eyes becoming sharp with a mix of worry and fierce kill intent, she coldly said, "Let's keep these bastards for now, interrogate them thoroughly before dealing with them. It's a pity most of the hijackers got away."
"No worries, we can never kill all of our enemies. Capturing these few is enough; we just need to prove their identities," Luo Zheng pushed Lan Xue lightly away and coldly watched the hijackers struggling to swim over; there were five of them, their eyes filled with despair and fear, desperately paddling, but their strength was severely depleted.
Lan Xue handed a handgun to Luo Zheng and raised the AK47 slung over her back, aiming at the approaching hijackers and coldly commanded in Japanese, "Stay still, don't co closer."
The n hesitated, pausing their movents, and looked at Lan Xue in terror, unwittingly revealing their identities. Lan Xue's anger intensified, and she softly spoke in Huaxia Country's language, "Take these bastards back. The Song family's collusion with Japanese pirates in kidnapping tourists is confird. Even though the ship is registered in a foreign country and the hijacking happened on the Public Sea, outside dostic jurisdiction, since most of the hostages are our citizens, the Song family is done for."
"Right," Luo Zheng also considered this, otherwise he would have shot these scoundrels dead already.
"Boom!" Suddenly, a thunderous explosion erupted, like a bolt of lightning.
Luo Zheng was alard and quickly turned around, only to see a huge blaze bursting from the bottom of the cruise ship, the area around the pilot house appearing to disintegrate instantly, debris flying everywhere. The sea, like startled deer, chaotically surged, creating a massive whirlpool into which the cruise ship plunged.
The sea ford a tide, surging tumultuously. Luo Zheng watched this scene, completely stunned. Suddenly, he thought of Song Yan, wondering if this was his contingency plan? By blowing up the pilot house, the ship was dood to sink to the seabed, covering everything up. Realizing this, he felt an intense dread.
Luo Zheng's expression turned grim as he looked towards Lan Xue, who was equally shocked, not expecting soone to deliberately detonate the pilot house. Such a massive explosion was obviously well-prepared with explosives.
"Not good, Ghost Hand and the others," Lan Xue shouted in panic.
However, as several-ter-high waves rolled in, the yacht was lifted. Luo Zheng was shocked, set aside his shyness, and grabbed Lan Xue into his arms, yelling, "Quick, untie the rope next to us and hold on tight."
Lan Xue ca to her senses, but the rope was tightly tied after the previous strong pull, making it impossible to untie. She felt the wave crest approaching, saw another huge wave rolling in, about to crash down, and quickly hugged the railing tightly on the yacht, tensing her body, forcing herself to calm down.
"Crash!" A massive wave smashed down, landing on the yacht, which shook violently, but fortunately did not sink. Luo Zheng quickly looked behind him, saw an even higher wave coming, and was greatly alard. He hugged Lan Xue tightly, thinking, if we live, we live together, if we die, we die together.
"Crash-crash!" The wave ca down, splashing all over the yacht. Luo Zheng turned around, shielding Lan Xue in his arms, letting the wave smash against his back. He only felt a severe pain sweeping over him; as the yacht rocked violently, both of them fell onto the deck, rolling around and colliding with the surroundings, the pain was unbearable.
After a while, the yacht gradually ca to a stop, the waves ceased, and the two supported each other up, looking toward the cruise ship. They saw it was tilting, and it wouldn't be long before it sank. People on the cruise ship were hurriedly untying lifeboats and life buoys and jumping into the sea.
"This?" Luo Zheng looked at the scene in surprise and suddenly thought of the robbers. He looked around - the five remaining robbers from earlier had vanished without a trace, probably swept away by the waves. In the vast sea, without a boat, without rescue, they were undoubtedly dood.
"Look, it's them," Lan Xue suddenly exclaid in excitent.
Luo Zheng looked up and saw three figures swimming fast towards them – it was Ghost Hand, Snow Leopard, and Mountain Eagle. He couldn't help but rejoice and shouted, "Quick, co over here."
"The lifeboats and life jackets from the cruise ship are sufficient, and everyone is temporarily safe. However," Lan Xue continued, her voice filled with worry, "the cruise ship's signal has been jamd, we can't send out any signal. Everyone is jumping into the sea to escape, and presumably, mobile phones won't work either, unable to send out any distress signals. If this drags on, everyone is still in danger."
"Indeed," Luo Zheng also thought of this issue and began to worry. He said, "The priority now is to bail the water out of this yacht, pick them up, and organize a rescue."
"That's all we can do," Lan Xue said helplessly. The two inspected the yacht; it was severely damaged but could still be used reluctantly. It definitely wouldn't withstand a storm or waves. Feeling the yacht beginning to sink, they hurriedly started scooping out water with whatever tools they could find.
Soon, Ghost Hand and the others swam over. Luo Zheng urgently asked, "What exactly happened?"
Seeing the situation, Ghost Hand and the others didn't have ti to answer, they hurriedly ca aboard to help. With no tools left on the yacht, everyone could only use their hands. Ghost Hand explained fiercely, "The three of us were entangled by the assassins. We killed two, and the other three escaped after causing a big explosion. Those bastards even blasted the cruise ship."
