Under Lynch’s lead, the group entered the main hall of the garrison as the fishern watched on in awe.

Annabella unceremoniously sat in the only remotely comfortable chair, leaving Lynch to stand. The three girls stood obediently behind their ntor.

"Long story short," Annabella said, "the ’Blood Eye’ and the missing girls you ntioned in your letter are likely connected to Viscount Golding."

"That guy again?" Lynch’s eyes narrowed slightly.

This sa Viscount Golding had previously colluded with a rogue Necromancer and also had murky ties to the Draenei Brotherhood.

’To think he might be behind this Blood Eye incident as well!’

"Since you were the source of the initial intelligence, the Dean assigned this to . I did so secret investigating and found that Viscount Golding is very likely performing so kind of wicked Undead resurrection ritual." As Annabella said this, her expression turned a little more serious. "I’ve been thinking about it, and if our Undead System tries to take all the credit for this alone... we might bite off more than we can chew. It could also land us in a lot of trouble."

As she spoke, Annabella glanced at the three girls behind her.

"So, I brought them along. Avril has the powerful Grant Clan behind her, and Ophelia’s and Lilith’s families are not without influence. With this, our families can get involved together, share the credit, and share the risks."

"That way, if we end up stirring a real hornet’s nest, having these young ladies from noble families to shield us will be much safer than our Undead System taking all the heat alone."

She paused, then looked at Lynch, a rare hint of teasing in her voice: "Besides, from what I can see, they’re quite happy to co and help you out, kid."

Upon hearing this, Avril’s cheeks flushed slightly, and she stole a glance at Lynch.

Ophelia, however, subconsciously puffed out her chest, looking ready to face any trouble together.

Lilith simply gave a cheerful, earnest smile, looking full of energy.

Er...

’Alright.’

Lynch sighed to himself.

’He had to admit, his ntor was quite the cunning strategist.’

’By bringing the three of them, she not only roped in allies to share the risk but also gave these girls from impressive backgrounds a chance to gain experience. And on top of that... was she also looking out for her student’s social life?’

’A classic case of killing three birds with one stone.’

"ntor, you... have truly thought of everything," Lynch could only say.

"Cut the flattery." Annabella shot him an irritated glare, then suddenly rembered sothing. "Oh, right. In your letter, you said you captured a special prisoner?"

’She was a little curious. What kind of prisoner would make this star pupil of hers be so vague, even in a Magic Letter?’

"One mont, ntor. I’ll have her co out to et you." With a re thought, Lynch sent a command through his ntal link to the Bone Shield standing guard upstairs.

A mont later, the sound of scraping bones echoed from the staircase.

Everyone instinctively looked up. The first thing they saw was a mass of gleaming white Skeletons, and only then did they notice the figure surrounded by a group of Skeleton Guards.

It was a young girl.

It was Sea Song Xiyin.

She was wearing a simple dress of coarse cloth that Lynch had found in the Fishing Port. Her long, curly green hair cascaded naturally over her shoulders. Her face, already exquisitely beautiful, was a little pale, making her seem all the more pitiable.

Her eyes were especially striking—as azure as the purest ocean, they held a trace of panic and wariness. When she glanced over timidly, they seed to ripple with a watery light.

Just then, the last rays of the setting sun pierced through a high, narrow window in the garrison, slanting down onto the landing and bathing her in a hazy halo.

Despite her simple dress, the ethereal and gentle beauty stemming from her noble Sea Race bloodline shone in that instant, as radiant as a lustrous pearl.

In that instant, the atmosphere in the main hall seed to freeze.

Annabella’s eyes narrowed slightly, and she couldn’t help but size up the girl.

In less than a mont, she determined that this girl was no ordinary human.

The faint, almost imperceptible aura she radiated, one that resonated with Water Elents, combined with her impossibly perfect features and figure—it all led Annabella to a specific conclusion.

"This is..."

In an instant, Annabella’s gaze grew profound.

anwhile, the gaze of Avril, clad in a pure white robe with her silver-white hair falling to her shoulders, lightly t Xiyin’s as the girl timidly looked up.

In just a second, the color drained from the young Priest’s face.

Her eyes grew misty.

’Senior... He actually...’
