So, his ntor had been ready for him to try and escape from the very beginning.

The battle on the main front raged, with all sorts of High Tier Undead taking turns on the field to completely absorb Anthony’s attention. But in the shadows, she had long since dispatched an Undead Assassin to sneak up behind him and wait patiently.

Only when the perfect opportunity arose did it erupt into action, delivering a fatal blow in a single strike.

’As expected of my ntor!’

In that instant, Lynch’s reverence for his ntor soared to new heights.

With Anthony’s death, so of the Skeleton Servants under his direct control, as well as the Skeletons led by commanders from the Netherworld, instantly went into a frenzy.

However, the Skeleton Servants directly or indirectly controlled by so of the wild, High Tier Soul Fire Undead all fell silent.

His ntor imdiately seized the opportunity and began to win over the enemy Skeletons, mainly targeting the wild Soul Fire Undead for conversion. As for the Soul Fire commanders Anthony had summoned via his Netherworld Contract, they could only be destroyed.

A short while later, Anthony’s remaining Undead Corps had either been destroyed or had surrendered. After absorbing the enemy remnants, his ntor’s own Undead Corps saw another boost in overall strength.

Next ca the ti to clean up the battlefield.

Perhaps because she was used to leaner tis, Annabella commanded her Undead Corps to scour the battlefield. They resurrected every Skeleton that could be raised, and those that couldn’t were collected as material to restore others.

This made Lynch want to scream internally, ’ntor, please leave so for ! Even just two Low Tier Soul Fire Skeleton Mages would be nice!’

As if she had heard his thoughts, his ntor waved her Magic Staff. A large hand ford of pale energy flew right over the dense Skeleton Corps protecting Lynch and appeared behind him. It seized him by the back of his collar, lifted him onto the battlefield, and tossed him down beside Anthony’s corpse.

Now, Lynch could see everything clearly without needing Bone Shadow’s shared vision.

He glanced around and saw that the battlefield had been picked spotlessly clean. Only Anthony’s corpse remained untouched.

"Seen enough?" Annabella asked, a faint smile on her lips.

"Uh... You’re amazing, ntor! So powerful!" Lynch imdiately started laying on the flattery, a wide smile plastered on his face. "I’ve benefited so much and gained a completely new understanding of what it ans to be a Necromancer."

"Enough with the sweet talk," Annabella said, rolling her eyes at him. She pointed to Anthony’s corpse on the ground. "You played a big part in luring this fish out. As is tradition, you get to pick one piece of the spoils."

She paused before adding, "Besides, your luck seems to be quite good recently. So, I’ll leave the task of looting the body to you."

Lynch was overjoyed at her words.

’Seriously? I get to do this?’

He wasn’t the least bit worried about Anthony faking his death.

With his ntor watching right there, there was no way in hell the man could pull it off.

"Thank you, ntor! Don’t mind if I do." Lynch rubbed his hands together in excitent and began to search Anthony’s body.

His movents were practiced, his gaze focused, as if he were performing so kind of sacred ritual.

The first thing to co off was a black Mage Robe that looked to be of decent quality. Unfortunately, the Skeleton Shadow Assassin had stabbed a hole through it, drastically reducing its value. Lynch ripped it off and casually tossed it aside.

Next, he found three rings.

One was a Space Ring, and the other two were Magic Rings capable of storing a few Undead Magic spells in advance. Lynch deftly slipped them off and dutifully placed them to one side.

There was also a bulging leather pouch on Anthony’s hip, likely a component pouch for rapid casting. He opened it to find several potions of various colors, so spell components emanating a cold, sinister energy, and a few Scrolls.

Aside from the Scroll that had fallen to the ground earlier, these were likely for Tier Five or higher Undead Magic.

Besides those, there was Anthony’s simplified Death Banner.

While it wasn’t nearly as imposing as his ntor’s, it was definitely a huge step up from his own Death Banner.

It was a "Death Banner Lite," at the very least!

After that, Lynch found a journal on him, which looked like so kind of notebook.

Finally, just to be thorough, Lynch checked the Space Ring. It had a capacity of about five cubic ters, roughly the sa size as the ring Sea Song had given him.

Inside were a good number of Gold Coins and a large pile of materials used by Necromancers. They all seed quite valuable, but none of them were particularly suitable for Lynch.

After looking everything over, the item Lynch liked most was the "Death Banner Lite."

"ntor, I’ll choose this one," Lynch said without hesitation.

"You have a good eye," Annabella said, her tone flat. "In terms of sheer value, those Scrolls might be worth more than this banner—especially that life-saving [Netherworld Walk] Scroll, which is exceptionally rare. However, its activation requirents are demanding. With your current Spiritual Power and Mana, forcing it would not only cause a backlash, but its effect would also be severely diminished."

"This banner’s quality may be average, but it’s perfect for you right now. It can significantly increase the size of the Skeleton army you can maintain. What’s more, it cos with a small pocket of the Nether Realm, allowing you to station a few Soul Fire Undead Units inside."

"It’s a huge improvent over your current setup with that bone bracelet and your bargain-bin Death Banner."

"Hehe, that’s what I was thinking too," Lynch said with a "simple and honest" smile, gleefully stowing away his new Death Banner.

Now, his Undead Army finally had a "mansion" to live in.

At least for the near future, he wouldn’t have to worry about housing his Undead Army.

Taking advantage of the mont, Lynch began to flip through the journal Anthony had left behind. He wanted to see if the man had captured all those young won to perform the evil sacrificial ritual his ntor had ntioned.

However, what Lynch never expected was that after just a few glances at the journal, he spotted a critical piece of information.

His face stiffened, and he froze on the spot.

It felt as if a stampede of ten thousand curses was rampaging through his mind.
