Chapter 112 : 666, Ti for Welfare Cotton

Too terrifying. Truly terrifying. She was completely like a demon that wore down a person’s sanity. Did she really have no awareness of how provocative she looked?

Yet she still put on that expression of knowing nothing, those innocent eyes silently accusing soone else of immoral behavior. At this mont, Vivian even began to feel a strange sense of guilt.

What a joke…

Just then, the hands at her waist lightly tugged at her. Vivian finally ca back to her senses. Her gaze focused again, eting the slightly parted red lips before her. Beneath the pearly teeth, the tip of a soft tongue could faintly be seen.

A fish on the chopping board was no longer enough to describe it. Although there was the sense of being completely at soone’s rcy, it still lacked a certain allure. It needed to make soone feel that they simply had no choice but to act.

A spark flashed in Vivian’s mind, and she suddenly ca up with an immature idea.

However, she did not carry it out imdiately. Instead, she gently placed a kiss at the corner of Eve’s lips, separating as soon as they touched.

Eve asked in confusion, “Is… that enough?”

“Pff—cough… cough…” Vivian clutched her chest, as though gravely wounded by a sudden and inexplicable sense of unsatisfied desire.

Wait a mont—who was coaxing whom here?!

Steady… I have to stay steady…

She shook her head fiercely, pushing aside the urge to imdiately pounce on Eve. It was too dangerous. She had almost fallen into the sa trap again.

Then she casually pushed Eve back down into a kneeling position. Eve looked utterly bewildered. After all that, were they kissing or not? Vivian still refused to give a clear answer.

“Stupid dog.”

What? Why the sudden insult?

“I am not a dog.”

“If I say you are, then you are.” Vivian did not give her a chance to argue. She placed both hands on the back of Eve’s head and pressed it toward her stomach. “If I call you an idiot, a fool, or a blockhead, will you admit it?”

Eve’s chin rested against Vivian’s stomach while the back of her head was being held down. She could not speak and could only blink.

“That look says you are unconvinced. Do you believe that I have plenty of ways to prove it?” Vivian snorted lightly. She loosened her grip slightly but still held the back of Eve’s head. Then she asked, “What do you think of ? Do you like ?”

“You seed to have asked that question earlier in the carriage.”

“Stop changing the subject. Answer.”

Eve fell silent.

She was thinking, but also doubting. The word “like,” when used between people, should belong to the category of emotions.

However, after years of instruction from her ntor, that part of her had gradually beco blank. Setting aside whether she had such feelings, even whether she should have them remained uncertain.

“Did you go mute?”

“…Please forgive . I do not know.”

“Tsk. You are not a machine, so how could you not know whether you like soone?” Vivian clicked her tongue. Although she had not received the answer she wanted, she was not angry. Instead, she patiently guided her. “Then answer the first question. What do you think of ?”

Suddenly she realized the question had been far too vague, so she added, “For example, my personality… or my behavior. If nothing else, you can even talk about my appearance.”

Eve answered quickly.

“I think you are very beautiful, and very cute.”

She was simply telling the truth.

“There you have it.”

Hmm? There what was?

Eve did not understand again.

Vivian curled her lips into a sly smile, like a child who had been planning mischief for a long ti.

“Now do you believe that you are an idiot?”

“You think I am beautiful and cute because you already like . Do you understand now?”

If thinking soone was beautiful and cute ant liking them… if the logic were really that simple… then perhaps it made sense.

Maybe.

Probably.

It was sothing you could use to fool a fool.

Eve neither refuted nor agreed. She did not even take it seriously, treating it as sothing trivial. Instead, she even learned to extend the reasoning, looking quite serious.

“I understand. So I like you, Young Miss. Then you—”

Before she could finish speaking, Vivian suddenly covered her mouth and interrupted her spellcasting.

“You are talking too much.”

At the sa ti, it seed as though sothing had struck a hidden spot in Vivian’s heart. Her heartbeat inexplicably quickened, and a warm flush spread across her cheeks at a visible speed.

Perhaps she had encountered a truth she did not wish to acknowledge. And since she was not good at lying, her gaze awkwardly drifted to the side, refusing to et the clear eyes so close to her.

After quite a while, she finally cald herself down and removed her hand. Only then did she notice that Eve’s breath had left a thin layer of mist on her palm. A calm voice drifted softly through the air again.

“Young Miss, are we not kissing anymore?”

See? Once she started doing sothing, she would carry it to the extre. That saying was not without reason. This strange persistence left Vivian feeling helpless, and she silently cursed herself for being so useless.

“Kiss, kiss, kiss. All you think about is kissing. I might as well kiss you to death!”

“Mmph…”

Vivian vented her frustration by deepening the kiss. She bit Eve’s lips and fiercely “attacked” her tongue whenever she managed to catch it. When they finally separated, she even went so far as to spit.

It landed perfectly and slid straight down Eve’s throat.

Eve imdiately choked, lowering her head instinctively and covering her mouth with the back of her hand as she coughed.

It was impossible to adapt to sothing like that. The mouth was one of the most vulnerable entrances of the body. Anyone would lose their composure if sothing sudden happened there.

Although it had no taste, it was extrely perverse.

Watching Eve’s slightly disheveled reaction, Vivian pressed her lips together. A thought arose in her mind. Rembering the idea that had flashed through her earlier, she realized that this was the perfect mont.

She first pretended to act casually, catching Eve off guard. Then, before Eve could recover, she forcefully lifted the emblem attached to the collar.

Eve suddenly felt darkness fall over her vision. She seed to be in so unknown space. Faint light filtered through, but by the ti she could clearly see what was before her, it was already too late.

“Young Miss, wait—mmph!”

In that instant, Eve’s eyes widened slightly. Her hands, which had instinctively rested at Vivian’s waist, almost moved to push her away. But the pressure on the back of her head told a different story.

It was intentional.

Vivian wanted this.

There was no ti to think. The fragrance of roses from Vivian’s recent bath beca clearer and clearer, rushing toward her and drowning out every other thought.

This is bad. I have been tricked. Eve is in danger!

anwhile, on the other side, Vivian’s lips parted slightly as she released a long-held breath. Her thoughts drifted as she gazed at the ceiling, her eyelashes trembling as though they might close at any mont.

But then she reconsidered.

If she focused only on the sensation and missed the beautiful sight before her eyes, that would be far too boring.

With that thought, she lowered her head and gently stroked the back of Eve’s head, as though hoping the gesture alone would convey her aning.

The pendulum of the clock hanging on the wall ticked… ticked… ticked… swinging rhythmically. The motion was small, yet strangely in sync with the two silhouettes.

Until the ti reached late into the night.

“Cough… cough…”

Eve was still kneeling, though she leaned forward slightly now. One hand supported her body while the other covered her mouth.

The empty glass cup sat on the bedside cabinet.

There was no helping it. Recently she had not drunk much blood, so her throat had beco dry. That was why she had drunk a little too quickly.

For a mont she could not process so much at once. Even though so seeped out between her fingers, she tried her best to prevent it from dripping onto the bed.

Other than swallowing it, she had no choice.
