Ma Laifu’s face turned very unpleasant. The whole business with Wang Baozhu and Wang Liuzhi had already made the Ma Family a target. If it weren’t for the years of being villagers together, and the fact that he himself had always kept a low profile—though his wife didn’t have a good reputation and he hadn’t offended anyone—he probably would have been kicked out of the village by now. If it ca out that he had ’that kind of thing’ with Wang Baozhu, he really wouldn’t be able to stay.

anwhile, Guan Qingyue fell and got hurt pretty badly; her palms and knees were scraped up, but she couldn’t afford to delay and fled the Ma Family in haste.
"Qingyue?" Suddenly, soone called out from behind.
Guan Qingyue was so startled she almost scread and even quickened her pace.
"Guan Qingyue, what’s going on?" Guan Qingshu frowned and chased after her for a few steps to catch his sister.
"Brother?" Guan Qingyue realized only then that it was Guan Qingshu who had called her, and she relaxed instantly, "You scared to death..."
"What did you do to make yourself so guilty?" Guan Qingshu frowned.

"Dad, am I still your daughter?" Guan Qingyue was already in pain and started crying after her father spoke, "I just went out for a walk, does it deserve this?"

"Alright, Dad wasn’t wrong about you." Guan Qingshu looked at his sister, who was crying out of grievance, and frowned, "Your current mindset isn’t right, if you continue like this, your future will be like Yang Baihe."
"Are you still my brother?" Guan Qingyue was even less willing.
