As night fell, the wind turned slightly cool.
Ever since collecting his military training equipnt, Qin Fan had stayed in his dormitory until dinnerti.
After feasting with a few of the beasts from Room 708, he appeared alone outside the won's dormitory.
Through his Divine Sense, he felt Xu Jiayi's aura approaching.
Leaning against a lamppost beneath the dim, atmospheric streetlights, Qin Fan threw down his cigarette butt. "Follow ," he said coldly.
Without giving Xu Jiayi a chance to react, he turned his back on her and strode away.
Watching Qin Fan's slender yet deeply enchanting back, a terrible premonition suddenly rose in Xu Jiayi's heart.

"The 'her' you're talking about... is it Yino?" Xu Jiayi swallowed, asking in a slight panic.

"None. You will never have a chance." Qin Fan's cold indifference was unshakable.
"Am I really so terrible? Is the gap between and Jiang Yino truly that vast?" The pearly tears finally rolled down her cheeks as Xu Jiayi asked, her voice a heart-wrenching sob.
"Whether you're terrible or not is none of my business, and I have no interest in discussing it. But compare yourself to Yino? You're not qualified. In my eyes, no one is qualified to be compared to her. I've said what I needed to say, and even so things I shouldn't have. From this mont on, I expect you to nip that little idea of yours in the bud. Do not touch my reverse scale, or the rest of your life will be a nightmare. I guarantee it."
Having made himself perfectly clear, Qin Fan couldn't be bothered to argue with her anymore. After delivering those cold, rciless words, he turned to leave.
But just at that mont, Xu Jiayi pounced on him like a madwoman.

Jiang Yino finished, smiled, and turned to walk away.

Qin Fan had no ti to be angry at Xu Jiayi. He flung her aside and frantically tried to explain.
Seeing him toss Xu Jiayi to the ground, Jiang Yino pointed at Qin Fan in disbelief. "How... how could you do that?"
Her expression suddenly changed, the look in her eyes as she stared at Qin Fan now starkly different. She hurried over to Xu Jiayi and helped her up. "Jiayi, are you okay? Are you hurt?"
"I'm... I'm fine! Yino, it's not what you think! You've misunderstood!" Xu Jiayi said in a panic, feeling the bone-chilling coldness emanating from Qin Fan's gaze.
"A misunderstanding? I saw the whole thing! How could I have misunderstood? Co on, let help you back to the dorm," Jiang Yino said resentfully, propping up Xu Jiayi.
"Yino!" Qin Fan shouted, his heart hamring in his chest.
"Scumbag!"
Without giving Qin Fan another look, Jiang Yino supported the unwilling Xu Jiayi and slowly walked back towards the won's dormitory.
