Amon smirked. "Got you."
The shadow tightened, thickening like chains forged from pure night. Her muscles tensed. Then.
"AH!"
With a sharp scream, raw force exploded from her body. The shadow bindings cracked like brittle glass and shattered into dispersing smoke.
"What?!" Amon’s eyes widened.
He acted instantly.
Dark spikes burst from the ground around her. Shadow and darkness ford jagged spires, aiming to pierce her from every angle.
She didn’t panic. Scarlett bent her knees and jumped.
The ground beneath her shattered from the force of her leap. She soared upward effortlessly, clearing every single rising spike as if they were nothing more than grass.
She landed on the trunk of a nearby tree, crouching for a split second. Then she kicked off again. She shot toward him from above.
"Too fast! Fuck!"
Amon crossed his sword above his head.
CRASH!
Her descending kick smashed into his blade. The force drove him straight into the ground. Dirt exploded outward in a circular shockwave.
A small crater ford beneath him. His arms trembled violently. The sword groaned under the pressure.
She was smiling. "You said I’m cute," she reminded him calmly.
"This is excessive!" Amon wheezed.
She pushed harder. The ground beneath him cracked further.
Amon wrapped both his arms with mana. Shadow climbed over his body, reinforcing his wrists. Darkness ford out of thin air.
He was using three things at the sa ti to strengthen himself. This gave him enough power to force space between them. He rolled away just as her next punch smashed into where his head had been.
BOOM!
The earth caved in again. He scrambled to his feet, breathing heavier now.
His shadow stretched behind him, growing wider, darker, more unstable.
Scarlett walked toward him slowly this ti. She was not in a rush. There was no strain on her face.
’Is she even using any mana? She doesn’t seem to!’ Amon thought gravely. He was now more nervous. This woman clearly looked like she was fighting with her pure physical strength.
She didn’t even look like she was fighting seriously.
Amon swallowed. ’She’s only using her fists...’
She’s not even using a weapon. She blurred again.
Amon commanded his shadow to rise into a thick wall in front of him. Her punch connected.
The entire shadow wall exploded apart instantly.
BOOM!
The backlash struck Amon square in the chest. He was hurled backward and skipped across the ground before slamming against a tree trunk.
The tree cracked. He coughed, tasting iron. Scarlett approached, dust settling around her.
Amon forced himself upright, legs shaking slightly. ’No chance...’
Every exchange proved it more clearly. Her speed outmatched him. Her strength dwarfed him.
Even his shadow restraints barely delayed her for a heartbeat. She stopped a few ters away, eyes glowing faintly.
Her lips curved slightly as she asked softly, "Still want to bother ?"
Amon wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and smirked faintly.
"...Yes."
She disappeared again.
And this ti. He knew. He truly had no chance against her.
Because ti he didn’t even get ti to block her. A punch connected to his stomach.
"Arrrghh!" His body ford an arc shape. Pain shot through all over his body from hus belly area.
He was flung backward by the impact.
BOOM!
He collided against a tree and then fell to the ground. His sword slipped from his grip.
He tasted blood in his mouth. He moved slightly and lay on his back, staring at the branches and leaves of the tree above him.
He tried to move, but Scarlett moved faster. She straddled his hips.
She grabbed his dark outfit’s collar. Her fist rose above him and ca down.
Amon closed his eyes. But he felt no impact on his face.’What happened?’
He opened one eye. In front of his face was her white fist, stopped inches away.
He gulped down a mouthful of saliva. ’Guess I won’t die today.’
She took back her fist. Her athyst eyes stared into his dark black eyes.
With a worried smile he declared, "Okay... you win!"
Just then Amon realized she was straddling his hips. He could feel her soft skin against him.
’Yup, it’s confird. She’s got plump hips and a nice, juicy rear.’ Her plump, round rear was against his body. He was really lucky
But he quickly pushed those thoughts aside. It was not the ti for that.
With slight amusent in her eyes, she asked, "Oh? I win?"
’She must be feeling satisfied after beating .’
He could still feel the agonizing pain in his stomach. She really didn’t hold back.
She leaned forward. Her red hair fell onto Amon’s face, tickling his skin.
Her gaze sharpened as she said, "So hear out. Don’t ever try to get close to . Got it?"
He could see her face from even closer now. Suddenly, he felt as if all the pain he had felt vanished instantly. He could here her breathing. If she leaned more, he could even feel her breath.
He looked deeply into her athyst eyes. "You... wanted to bite . Drink my blood." He started to spout the words that ca to his mind.
Amon moved his right hand, grabbed his collar, and pulled it aside. His collarbone was visible to her.
A smile crept onto his face. "Go on...Bite hard~then drink my blood."
This ti, his words had a different impact on her. Her whole face flushed in embarrassnt.
Her eyes widened as she stamred, "Whaaat?! Wh-why would I bite your neck!"
Amon looked at her confusingly. "To drink my blood?"
"Ye-yes, but why on your collarbone?! I can drink it from your wrist if I want." Her blush deepened.
Now Amon felt sothing suspicious. He released his collar. Seeing her expression, he felt like it wasn’t good to ask further.
So Amon simply raised his right hand toward her. "Then drink from it."
She frowned, confusion and slight irritation on her face. "Why?... Why do you want to drink your blood?"
"Well... don’t you guys need to drink it from ti to ti?"
"Yes, we do... but there is a place called the healing center where you can donate blood in small amounts from ti to ti for us vampires."
This ti Amon was shocked. ’Yeah... that’s actually understandable. So she has no thirst for blood since she gets it from ti to ti.’
Amon thought for a while. With a little hesitation, he asked, "Still... you can drink it. From directly. Isn’t it tastier that way? It must be warm... fresh."
Scarlett looked at him weirdly. Then she glanced at his raised hand. His sleeve had slid down, showing his wrist.
Her expression slowly changed. Her eyes darkened.
Then her athyst eyes turned glowing red. Her lips parted slowly as two sharp vampire fangs extended from her teeth.
She leaned closer. Her breathing grew slightly uneven. She opened her mouth wide, hesitated for a brief second. Questioning to herself if she was doing right or not.
But then she bit into his wrist.
Amon felt a slight sting of pain, but it lasted only a mont.
Scarlett closed her eyes as she drank his blood, her expression turning blissful and serene.
Amon could feel his blood very slowly getting suck by this wild enchantress. He smiled faintly and said softly,
"Don’t drink too much."
