"Haha, you’re truly infatuated," Jinye laughed after hearing, then said, "But this ti is different. It’s not about having you deal with Lin Mu, we’re just using you to lure him to the East Asian Country. Once there, no matter how skillful Lin Mu is, he’s no match for us. By then, getting rid of Lin Mu will be a piece of cake."
"You are despicable! Shaless!" Man Luo cursed fiercely.
"Whether despicable or shaless, as long as Lin Mu is eliminated, that’s all that matters. I, Jinye, always aim for the goal, regardless of the ans. So, I’d like to ask you to cooperate a bit. Rest assured, as long as you cooperate properly with us, I won’t harm you," Jinye said, looking at Man Luo.
Man Luo looked at Jinye, her eyebrows furrowed tightly. Clearly, she wouldn’t let Jinye’s conspiracy succeed, so Man Luo refused, "Dream on!"
"Since you’re not cooperating, don’t bla for being rude," Jinye’s smile instantly turned serious.
"Jinye, this is my territory, Man Luo’s domain. Do you think you can succeed here?" Man Luo said, looking at Jinye.
"Haha, Man Luo, don’t try to scare . I’m well aware of your capabilities. Since I dare to co, I’m certainly confident. Besides, with just those few subordinates of yours, how can you resist our ninja masters?" Jinye sneered dismissively, clearly disregarding Man Luo’s subordinates. After all, Jinye and Uro Iji brought all the Jushi Association’s ninja masters. If they couldn’t even take down Man Luo, it would be a disgrace. How could a group of n possibly lose to won?
"Alright then, if you don’t believe it, let’s try," Man Luo said with determination. Though she knew she wasn’t a match for Jinye and his crew, there was no other way but to resist desperately. Of course, Man Luo wouldn’t give in without a fight; she’d definitely escape at the first opportunity, provided she could take her sisters with her. Otherwise, Man Luo would have fled long ago upon receiving Qing’Er’s notification.
"Haha, alright, let’s see how much strength you have to confront our ninjas!" Jinye chuckled.
"Sister Manluo, you go first, we’ll cover you," Qing’Er stood next to Man Luo and said.
"If we go, we go together. Sisters, let’s go!" Man Luo said, charging towards Jinye.
Jinye didn’t step forward to confront Man Luo but stepped back, and several ninjas moved in front of Jinye.
No matter if it was Jinye or the ninjas, Man Luo had to face them. She had no choice, so Man Luo dashed forward, wielding a dagger as she charged at the ninja.
The ninja in front of her swung the Eastern Curved Saber, eting Man Luo head-on. Swish, swish, swish, long blades and short blades swung quickly, as Man Luo and the ninja clashed intensely, occasionally emitting tallic clangs.
Whoosh, both attacked simultaneously, their respective long blade and dagger slicing past each other’s bodies. However, the ninja was struck in a critical point by Man Luo, collapsing on the ground, while Man Luo only suffered a minor injury, staggering back a few steps.
Man Luo still held the upper hand, after all, she was a seasoned assassin with rich combat experience. But this was only in one-on-one combat. If several ninjas charged together, Man Luo had no confidence in handling them, as dealing with just one was already strenuous, let alone so many ninja masters.
"All of you, go! Leave her alive, the others can be eliminated," Jinye’s expression turned grim. In such a situation, failing to capture Man Luo would be utterly embarrassing, making him unfit to mix in the martial arts world if word got out.
Imdiately, several ninjas simultaneously swung their blades, charging at Man Luo. They were in a corridor, so space was limited. Only three could stand side-by-side, with those behind unable to rush forward.
Seeing the Jushi Association’s ninjas strike together, Qing’Er also shouted, leading the sisters to charge. She couldn’t let Man Luo face them alone; their sole purpose was to protect Man Luo.
Swish, swish, swish! Clang, clang, clang! Instantly, a chaotic clashing of swords and blades sounded throughout the corridor, the battle extrely intense. Man Luo’s subordinates had a certain gap compared to the Jushi Association’s ninjas. After all, they were won, and on the sa level, the n’s strength and aura were clearly more formidable. In the blink of an eye, three sisters at the front were swiftly killed by Jushi Association ninjas.
But Man Luo’s subordinates didn’t care about the opponent’s strength; they attacked desperately.
Yet, Man Luo, seeing this, rushed to the forefront, for if the battle continued, her Won’s Assassin Squad faced the crisis of complete extermination. Due to limited fighting space, Qing’Er again pulled Man Luo back.
"What are you doing, Qing’Er?" Man Luo glared at Qing’Er.
"Sister Manluo, please go quickly. The sisters can’t hold on much longer," Qing’Er urged.
"No way, if we go, we go together. I absolutely won’t abandon you," Man Luo refused.
"Sister Manluo, they’re targeting you. If you don’t leave now, you’ll never make it out, and our sisters’ sacrifices will be in vain."
Just as Qing’Er spoke, two more subordinates were killed by Jushi Association ninjas, the situation extrely risky, while Man Luo’s subordinates dwindled.
"Sister Manluo, please go quickly. Don’t let our sacrifice be aningless," another sister said to Man Luo.
Man Luo tightly clenched her fists, tears welled in her eyes.
"Ah..." Another scream, another sister fell.
"Please go quickly." Qing’Er pulled Man Luo back.
"Don’t let Man Luo escape, finish them quickly," Jinye commanded.
Soon, several ninjas at the front launched fierce attacks, and Man Luo’s subordinates appeared powerless against the strong ninjas, falling one by one in the blink of an eye.
Qing’Er pulled Man Luo into a room, opened the window and jumped out of the bar.
"Oh... oh..."
Screams echoed, as the female assassins resisting the ninjas in the corridor got struck down, bleeding profusely. Jinye waved repeatedly, leading the charge into the room. Seeing the open window, Jinye led the jump down; the room was on the second floor, so for soone skilled in Lightweight Skill, jumping down caused no harm. After Man Luo and Qing’Er jumped out the window, they got into the car parked in the lot.
"Sister Manluo, where are we going now?" Qing’Er asked.
"First, leave here, find a safe place," Man Luo said, though at this mont Man Luo wasn’t sure where to go; in Xiang Island, she had no deep connections.
"Okay," Qing’Er nodded, accelerated, and drove out of the parking lot.
"Quickly, get in the car and chase them," Jinye said, then got into a car and followed.
Qing’Er drove fast, but Jinye quickly caught up.
"Sister Manluo, it seems Jinye’s catching up," Qing’Er glanced at the rearview mirror and said urgently to Man Luo.
