The spear vanished from the gray world before reappearing outside near a distant asteroid.
The dwarven elders jumped slightly when the spear suddenly erged from nowhere.
A second later Lin Mu himself returned.
He looked deeply thoughtful now.
Fade itself had not changed much while holding the spear directly. Yet Collapse could independently travel through the parallel dinsion with him and even without him. That opened many terrifying possibilities.
An enemy might never even realize the spear was approaching before it suddenly erged from another dinsional layer directly beside them. Even Lin Mu himself found the concept dangerous.
Finally, he turned toward his last spatial skill.
ld.
This technique remained his most versatile spatial ability.
ld allowed him to manipulate and solidify space itself, shaping it almost like tangible matter.
Until now, he had primarily used it for defense, barriers, or localized spatial control.
But with Collapse…
Lin Mu narrowed his eyes.
He activated ld while channeling energy through the spear.
Imdiately the surrounding space distorted violently.
Thin silver cracks spread outward from the spear tip like fractures across glass.
Then Lin Mu swung the spear horizontally.
RIIIIIP!
A massive tear in space appeared before him.
Unlike before, this was not rely superficial distortion.
The spear physically ripped apart the spatial fabric far more deeply than Lin Mu had ever managed on his own. The surrounding fragnts trembled slightly from the pressure and the dwarven elders instinctively retreated several steps.
Lin Mu himself beca startled.
Using ld through Collapse transford the skill into a terrifying offensive technique.
He thrust the spear again.
This ti the spear tip drilled directly into space itself before forcibly peeling it apart in layers.
The visual effect resembled reality being torn open by brute force.
Lin Mu stopped imdiately afterward.
Even he felt a faint sense of danger from continuing recklessly.
This weapon amplified his spatial abilities far beyond simple enhancent.
It fundantally altered their applications.
After testing every skill thoroughly, Lin Mu finally cald down slightly.
Collapse floated beside him obediently while Stasis remained nearby as well.
Lin Mu repeated several experints using Stasis.
The results proved totaly identical.
Both spears possessed the sa fundantal properties.
He also tested different types of energy.
Immortal Qi.
Elental Qi.
Sword Qi.
Every form of energy transford into Spatial Qi the mont it entered the spears. That was both astonishing and dangerous. And it was precisely then that Lin Mu suddenly realized a serious problem.
His expression changed.
The excitent faded slightly from his face.
"ng Bai cannot use this safely," he said quietly.
The elders paused.
Lin Mu looked at Stasis thoughtfully.
Unlike him, ng Bai was not a Spatial Cultivator.
He lacked both the affinity and understanding necessary to properly control Spatial Qi. If the spear converted all his Spirit Qi into Spatial Qi automatically, the resulting backlash could beco catastrophic.
All forms of Spatial energy were inherently unstable for ordinary cultivators.
One mistake could tear apart ridians or damage the body internally.
And that was only one problem.
Lin Mu himself possessed monstrous reserves of immortal Qi. Even then, the consumption of the spear remained significant during advanced spatial techniques. ng Bai was still mortal.
If he attempted to use Stasis recklessly, the spear might drain him dry in monts.
In a worst case scenario…
It could kill him outright.
The realization imdiately sobered Lin Mu.
The spear was far too powerful for ng Bai in its current state.
He needed a way to restrain it.
Or perhaps seal most of its true power temporarily until ng Bai beca strong enough to wield it properly.
The Rune Dwarf elder crossed his arms thoughtfully.
"A limiter formation perhaps," he suggested.
The Fireforge elder shook his head slowly.
"Ordinary formations will not survive the Spatial Energy inside that thing."
Lin Mu stared at Stasis silently.
Then after a few monts, his eyes narrowed slightly.
"I might already have an idea," he said slowly.
The elders imdiately looked toward him with interest.
Lin Mu remained silent for several monts after voicing his concern about Stasis.
The dwarven elders too had fallen into contemplation, each of them understanding the danger involved. The spear was a masterpiece beyond anything they had ever created before, but that very perfection made it difficult for a weaker cultivator to wield safely.
Eventually, Lin Mu exhaled softly.
"I'll need so ti to adjust the second spear," he said.
The elders nodded readily.
After all, this was no ordinary weapon refinent. Even they understood that a treasure of this level would likely require further adaptation before it could properly serve its owner.
"Take all the ti you need," the Rune Dwarf elder replied. "You already achieved what we once thought impossible."
The others agreed as well.
Lin Mu gave a slight nod before storing both Collapse and Stasis into his ring.
Then he sat down cross legged directly atop the drifting world fragnt.
The broken stars and floating debris around him continued their silent movent through the darkness of space while the dwarven elders moved a respectful distance away. None of them disturbed him.
Lin Mu closed his eyes.
With a thought, his consciousness descended inward.
A mont later, it manifested within the spatial ring.
His body outside remained motionless while his spiritual form took shape inside the vast inner world of the ring.
The familiar environnt spread out before him.
The spatial ring had grown far more stable and expansive compared to the past. Countless treasures, resources, beasts corpses, and structures existed within it now. Streams of spiritual energy flowed through the environnt naturally while the laws of space within remained far stronger than before.
Lin Mu's figure drifted silently across the internal landscape.
He already knew where Xukong would be.
Sure enough, when he arrived near the Ethereal Altar, he found the great spider cultivating peacefully near the barrier surrounding it. Spatial energy streaks drifted through the air every few seconds like silver cots.
The instant they appeared, they were drawn toward Xukong and absorbed into his body naturally. The sight was srizing and Xukong's bone white body looked even more imposing than before.
His ten golden eyes remained shut as he cultivated, yet the pressure radiating from him had clearly grown stronger. His body now asured nearly five ters in size, almost twice what it had been years ago.
