Lin Mu observed quietly.

It was obvious now that shedding the husk had not simply been a matter of natural growth.

Xukong had deliberately abandoned it.

Without the restrictions of the old shell, his avatar had begun growing rapidly once more. Of course, compared to the true body of the Holder of Space, this size remained insignificant. Yet Lin Mu could still feel the terrifying power hidden beneath that calm exterior.

The surrounding space subtly warped around Xukong at all tis. It was as though reality itself naturally bent to accommodate his existence.

Lin Mu did not speak.

He simply waited.

Disturbing Xukong while he cultivated felt unwise. More importantly, Lin Mu respected him far too much to interrupt recklessly.

An hour passed quietly.

Finally, Xukong stirred.

His ten golden eyes slowly opened.

The eyes glowed brilliantly against his bone white body, making him appear almost divine within the dim environnt of the ring.

They focused directly upon Lin Mu.

"Lin Mu," Xukong spoke calmly.

His deep voice echoed strangely through the surrounding space.

"You finished?" he asked.

"I did, senior," Lin Mu replied with a respectful nod.

Xukong remained silent for a mont before chuckling lightly.

"Looks like I missed quite a lot."

Then he shifted slightly.

"Give a mont," he added.

Lin Mu understood imdiately.

Because of their connection, Xukong could review the mories Lin Mu was willing to share. Considering how long Xukong had remained in deep cultivation, there was naturally much to catch up on.

Lin Mu waited patiently while Xukong closed his eyes again briefly.

Several minutes passed.

When the spider opened his eyes once more, Lin Mu noticed sothing rare within them.

Surprise.

Genuine surprise.

"I truly did not expect this," Xukong admitted. "You not only completed three additional elental cores, but also ford two more Dao Embryos."

His golden eyes narrowed slightly.

"And that Dao Resonance…" he continued. "You actually managed to draw the majority of existing Fire and tal Dao Embryos into manifestation."

Even Xukong sounded impressed by that feat.

Lin Mu himself still found the experience difficult to fully process.

The mory of thousands upon thousands of Dao Embryos floating around him still remained vivid within his mind.

Xukong's gaze then shifted slightly.

"And your forging thods…" he said slowly. "Those were quite novel."

Lin Mu smiled faintly.

"We had to improvise."

Xukong let out another low chuckle.

"Even I was sowhat uncertain how you would actually forge the husk," he admitted openly. "It has never happened before."

That answer imdiately caught Lin Mu's attention.

"You never did anything with your old husks before?" he asked curiously. "You didn't give them to anyone or did anyone find them?" he wondered.

Xukong tilted his massive head slightly.

Then he gave an answer that completely caught Lin Mu off guard.

"I ate them."

Lin Mu blinked.

"Ate them?" he repeated.

For a mont, he genuinely thought he had misheard.

But Xukong rely looked at him calmly.

"Yes," the spider replied casually. "Why would I waste perfectly good energy?"

Lin Mu opened his mouth slightly before shutting it again.

Then after a few seconds, he slowly nodded.

Actually…

That did make sense.

Among ordinary spiders, consuming old webs or discarded husks was fairly common. It allowed them to recover nutrients and energy used during molting.

Still…

Hearing the ancient Holder of Space say so casually that he consud his discarded shells felt strangely surreal. Lin Mu could not help imagining Xukong crunching through a mountain sized husk like so sort of snack.

The ntal image felt bizarre enough that he almost laughed.

Instead, he cleared his throat lightly.

"Then why did you not eat this one too?" Lin Mu asked.

Xukong's eyes glead faintly.

"This situation is different," he explained. "Unlike my true body, I intend to cultivate this avatar entirely through utterly pure Spatial Energy."

His voice grew calr and more serious.

"The husk I shed contained many residual impurities from my previous state. To others, it may appear impossibly pure already. But to …"

He shook his head slightly.

"It remains impure."

Lin Mu beca thoughtful hearing that.

The amount of Spatial Energy contained within the husk had already exceeded anything the dwarven elders had ever seen. Even they believed Celestial materials might not compare to it.

And yet…

To Xukong, that energy still qualified as impure.

The sheer difference in standards was absurd.

Lin Mu suddenly realized sothing else too.

The refinent process they had spent years completing had essentially removed what Xukong considered impurities. And those "impurities" alone had nearly overwheld multiple Transcendent experts.

The thought made Lin Mu inwardly sigh.

Xukong anwhile continued calmly.

"I do not wish to repeat the sa cultivation path as before," he said. "This avatar exists precisely because I want to attempt sothing different."

Lin Mu nodded slowly.

That explanation fit Xukong's personality well. Soone who had already reached such an unfathomable height would naturally seek a new path rather than walk the exact sa road again.

For a while, silence settled between them.

Spatial streaks continued drifting through the air before being absorbed into Xukong's body.

Then Lin Mu finally spoke again.

"Senior," he began carefully, "the spears turned out stronger than I expected."

Xukong's eyes glead knowingly.

"I noticed."

Lin Mu rubbed his chin slightly.

"Stasis is too dangerous for ng Bai in its current form."

He explained everything afterward.

The automatic conversion into Spatial Qi.

The amplification of spatial techniques.

The enormous energy consumption.

The possibility of backlash.

Xukong listened quietly the entire ti.

When Lin Mu finally finished, the spider remained thoughtful for several monts.

Then he spoke.

"You are correct."

His tone carried certainty.

"A Spirit realm cultivator cannot safely wield that spear as it currently exists."

Lin Mu frowned slightly.

"That is why I ca to ask for your advice."

Xukong's massive legs shifted lightly against the ground.

Then one of his golden eyes narrowed faintly.

"There are several ways," he said.

"But the simplest…"

A strange amusent appeared in his gaze.

"…would be to make the spear sleep."
