Chapter 181: Integrity and Kindness!

'Terrain Invincibility.'

Within this Magical Creature Abyss, this was one of the most remarkable features of this land.

The terrain here was not a simple accumulation of matter—it was more akin to a living organism with consciousness of its own.

Once a section was destroyed, it could automatically repair itself after a period of ti.

Once it had fully repaired, the terrain's Invincibility protection of the Abyss would activate for a set duration.

And now, this enclosed arena.

Was currently in that perfect state of 'Terrain Invincibility.'

Viktor had exploited the terrain chanics of the Magical Creature Abyss to construct a natural dueling ground between himself and the Calamity of Wind.

A naturally bound cage.

Every living creature within the barrier was imprisoned inside—none could even attempt to flee.

And within this confined space, Dorakon, whose body could barely stretch out, had lost every advantage it possessed.

That mobility it had always prided itself on had been drastically curtailed.

As Viktor's magic gathered and his voice rang out with quiet confidence, Dorakon descended into boundless fury.

The dignity it held as a Calamity would never permit it to soar into the sky.

That would be seen as running away.

It would not flee.

Even if it found itself utterly imprisoned in a place that had stripped away its freedom.

Even against this entity before it that seed to share the sa origin as itself, it was confident it could grind it into dust beneath its claws.

Then, all at once, the surrounding wind gradually ca to a halt.

As though the raging storm had been forcibly stilled, the surrounding space fell into absolute silence.

Only the radiance of Viktor's iridescent light, like that of a blazing celestial body, continued to flicker relentlessly through the air.

The Adventurers seated on the stone steps felt it as well.

It seed as though sothing around them had suddenly vanished—

Wind.

The wind had disappeared.

The raging tempest had subsided without explanation.

They did not know what had happened, yet bewildernt and awe still surged through their hearts.

【Storm's Verdict】

Just like Gulton and Druga.

This was the passive aura of the Calamity of Wind, Dorakon.

An ability that allowed the Calamity itself to freely manipulate the storm surrounding its body.

On the surface, it appeared entirely calm.

Yet this seemingly harmless breeze not only allowed Dorakon to move with extraordinary speed—it also concealed a terrifyingly powerful ability.

Specifically, it could convert powerful attacks generated by other elents into attribute-less force.

All manner of elental attacks, when faced with【Storm's Verdict】, would be reduced to nothing more than a pure burst of magical force.

Strictly speaking, it also countered Viktor, who wielded the power of a Calamity.

Beneath the storm, all are equal.

In that instant, a series of iridescent flashes swept through Viktor's eyes.

The countless Formations overhead ceased their rotation—like teors piercing through the atmosphere, myriad glittering points of seven-colored light converged together.

Magic power erupted all at once from the countless Formations in a torrent.

The great tree atop the staff spread open to either side, and a teal-hued moon slowly ascended into the high sky.

"The will of all living things—iridescent hues transford into contempt."

"A joy untouched by suffering—Heaven shall descend upon this place."

【War Magic: Alien Star Surge】

Opening with War Magic, as a show of respect.

The mont the words fell, the countless shimring, seven-colored starfields appeared as though a colossal maw had erged from that teal radiance.

A droning tremor echoed ceaselessly as beams of blinding brilliance erupted with a thunderous roar, tearing through the violet sky and rending a cross-shaped iridescent fissure into existence by sheer force.

The powerful, searing magic sent the entire violet ground heaving in frenzied tremors.

Like a planet shattering the void, it crashed with trendous force into the dragon's vast and boundless black body.

Boom!

The enormous orb of light seed to concentrate all magical power at its center, completely swallowing the great dragon whole.

"Wh-what is that thing?!"

"Is-is that still even magic?!"

Every one of the Adventurers shielded their eyes, as though recoiling in absolute terror from sothing.

Their hearts shuddered in rhythm with that deep, reverberating pulse, and the muscles across their bodies involuntarily seized up.

Suspended within the radiance, Dorakon let out a thunderous roar toward the sky and the iridescent fissure above.

Countless jet-black scales absorbed that terrifying magical force.

It was as though, in a single instant, that overwhelming power had driven itself into the crevices between the scales.

And allowed the blazing iridescent radiance to consu it entirely.

Boom!

In one mont, the world was swallowed by total white—and the surrounding silence was absolute.

The sounds of breath and heartbeat had vanished completely.

The Adventurers seated on the stone steps curled themselves into tight clusters, their eyes filled with boundless terror.

The radiance quickly reached the edge of the violet barrier—but the very next second,

The trendous shockwave rebounded off the yielding violet surface and slamd into Dorakon's body once again.

Hera felt the intense heat and the deep, surging magical power slowly recede from around her.

Only then did she slowly open her eyes.

The spectator's seating he had prepared for them.

It seed to have beco the ans he had specifically arranged for himself to face that monster.

At the very least, she and the others seated in the spectator's area.

Would not face any threat to their lives.

At the sa mont, a massive, jet-black silhouette burst violently from the settling dust and smoke.

The black scales covering the entirety of its body gradually shed their crimson tinge.

Those scales, as hard and immovable as great boulders, began to shimr with an iridescent glow, light flowing and rippling across them.

Its enormous, sweeping body began to roll ceaselessly through the sky—its speed surging to its peak in an instant, tearing through space.

A thin veil of white wind breath clung to the dragon's body, and its blurred black silhouette began to revolve at trendous speed throughout the entire arena.

Watching that scene—that it could still move completely normally—the Adventurers stared with wide eyes.

That monster, after enduring such a terrifyingly powerful magical assault, had erged completely unaffected?

How could this be possible?!

Of course, only Viktor knew that his magic had indeed taken effect.

It was just that his opponent was a Calamity.

The results would not be particularly striking.

As a Calamity, even the weakest among them—the Calamity of Wind—possessed a health bar that stretched for thousands of miles.

Add to that the vast level gap between Viktor and Dorakon, along with the powerful wind breath that enveloped its body, which had absorbed a great deal of the damage.

At the very least, bringing Dorakon to a standstill.

Was far too premature.

That first strike of War Magic had been nothing more than an appetizer.

Viktor gripped his staff tightly, watching Dorakon soar freely before him—not a trace of surprise in his eyes.

"The attribute gap is still far too wide."

After all, it was a level 60 World Boss unit. Even though Viktor had challenged it countless tis, the gap in raw stats was genuinely difficult to bridge.

"In that case..."

Viktor slowly raised his staff, and beams of radiance began to light up around him one by one.

【Magic Power Boost—Max】

【Mage's Chanting Blessing】

【All-Attribute Boost (Advanced)】

【Lethal Rhythm】

【Absolute Focus】

【Unyielding Stance】

【Transcendence】

【Magic Penetration】

【Spatial Acceleration】

【Wind Sprite's Blessing (Resistance Boost)】

One teal lotus after another blood in sudden bursts—at this mont, he was like a deity standing at the center of a still lake.

Strands of magical power climbed along his coat and up to his shoulders. Viktor could clearly feel it—imnse power was surging into his body.

Several beams of light swept through his eyes, and one powerful Buff after another appeared beneath his status bar.

The Adventurers watching the battle could not help but stare at Viktor in stunned disbelief.

Watching Viktor continuously stack magical Buffs upon himself, they all stood there slack-jawed.

He was still in the middle of combat, after all!

And yet he still had the presence of mind to use Buff magic.

Was this person even human?

As expected, applying Buffs to oneself right in front of the monster was in itself an act of provocation.

Watching Viktor light up with one Buff glow after another, a surge of fury rose within Dorakon—the scales across its body began to clatter and crack in agitation.

It coiled its massive body, and countless translucent wind-breath blades began slicing through the entire space.

Its great tail tore through the air and swung down toward Viktor.

Viktor, still in the midst of applying Buffs to himself, remained entirely unhurried. He observed the trajectories of those rapidly incoming blades and sidestepped the attacks with ease.

The imnse pressure brought by the great tail was also effortlessly deflected, his agile form perfectly evading that dense barrage.

Intimately familiar with every incoming assault, he moved as though he were a dancing spirit leaping through the air.

Yet Dorakon did not stop its assault just because Viktor kept dodging—it grew only more savage.

Volleys of wind arrows tore through the void, driving toward Viktor's vital points from behind.

In an instant, every Adventurer who had taken it all in raised their hearts to their throats.

But Viktor seed to have anticipated this developnt long ago—the corners of his otherwise impassive mouth curved ever so slightly upward.

"My apologies."

"Too late."

The mont the words fell, the Viktor who had been standing atop the great bird was suddenly shattered to pieces.

Fragnts of splintered wood drifted through the air.

Everyone could see clearly now—the Viktor up in the sky had, at so unknown point, transford into a decoy.

Then where was the real Viktor?

At so unknown mont, Viktor stood in a different area of the high sky—one hand gripping his staff, and the other holding a crown with a pulsing violet heart.

He slowly raised the crown—glimring with golden light—and placed it atop the staff.

The voice of his incantation rose, unhurried and asured.

"Beast of the void, indifferent to all pain and suffering."

As he spoke, wisps of faint violet smoke began drifting up from his body.

His eyes were calm as he slowly moved through the air.

"Unmoved by the ten thousand blessings bestowed upon the world."

Every line of the incantation carried a boundless depth, as though it originated from the silence of the void itself.

Dorakon continued its relentless assault—but the countless wind-breath blades and howling gales seed no more threatening than toys.

The mont they drew close to Viktor, they would effortlessly collapse beneath his impenetrable defense.

Dorakon's form also began weaving at high speed through the space—but Viktor, having already fully stacked all manner of Buffs, appeared to move even faster than Dorakon.

Though Viktor knew this was solely because he had morized the full pattern of Dorakon's every attack.

【2nd-Tier Magic: Black Smoke Flash】

The mont the words fell, the dragon's sweeping body instantly passed through Viktor.

Only a billow of churning black mist was left in his place.

"Gnawing upon the form of heaven and earth—breaking through the heart of the blossom."

The instant Viktor's incantation ca fully to an end.

Exactly 5 seconds had passed.

At that mont, a sound like a heartbeat rang out—thump, thump.

Every person present was stunned without exception. They covered their ears, as though mounting absolute resistance against that enormous sound.

"The piercing shriek—from the void."

Imperial Relic—【The Ruined Beast That Abhors Pain】

Whoosh!

A deep violet fissure tore open without warning. Countless razor-sharp claws materialized from nothing—and accompanied by that violet radiance, a churning, void-filled gate was wrenched open by sheer force.

A distant palace seed to begin crumbling behind the gate. Countless eyes fixed upon the outer sky, squeezing out sharp and mocking expressions.

Bodies erged from behind that gate—a crumbling palace, beating with a low, steady pulse, began to collapse anew.

Strange-patterned stone slabs floated out from the eyeballs; towering stone pillars began to spread outward across the skin.

Those masses of flesh and blood began reassembling from behind a pair of suspended enormous hands, taking full form as a colossal magical beast.

Rolling violet light erupted all at once in a torrent, and Runes surrounding it began to flow and circulate.

Surges of black completely sealed the enormous gate—and a single colossal eye was revealed before everyone's gaze.

Yet within that eyeball were distributed countless pupils—and within those pupils seed to echo the fragnted, greedy tendrils of sothing stirring restlessly in the boundless dark.

Standing before that towering void creature, Viktor was like an Evil God descended upon the world.

He looked upon Dorakon's form—which had long since ceased to be calm—and revealed a quiet smile:

"This is the gift I have prepared for you."

"Gaze upon this Abyss."
