Sotis Ash was really curious about that ’Arcadian Era’ Vishi ntioned. In that era, the Divine Lord hadn’t yet co to dominate the earth, and the world was composed of different nations ford by the Mage Alliance. It was an era of freedom Vishi yearned for, filled with conflict and opportunity everywhere.
But freedom has a synonym, called ’chaos.’
Ash couldn’t imagine what kind of catastrophe it would be if a group of legendary mages were to wantonly wage war on each other on earth. Even if mages could establish a peaceful order, it wouldn’t be aningful. Vishi, a chaos maniac, is the best example of this. When imnse power consolidates in one being, the strong can freely trample on rules, even evading all punishnts.
There never existed shackles that could bind mages.
The bloodline ban laws of the Blood Moon, the Gospel System of the Gospel, the religious faith of Senluo, the nobility of Dazzling Star... Although the six-nation system differs, when closely examined, it’s just different thods to guide the mage community.
