The days following Han Yu’s miraculous return were a whirlwind of attention and scrutiny. Despite his best efforts to appear humble and docile, the mont he set foot in the sect again, whispers spread like wildfire.
"Did you hear? Han Yu, the one who died, is back!"

Disciples crowded around him, offering awkward greetings, expressions of disbelief, and more than a few lingering stares. Even the older disciples who had known him before seed unsure how to react.
But Han Yu remained silent, keeping his head low, only offering brief responses. His silence worked in his favor; it made him seem distant and mysterious, fueling the rumors that spread like wildfire.
The Outer Court disciples were particularly wary, especially the ones who had been present when he supposedly died. They saw the change in him—the newfound aura that emanated from his very being. He had been at the tenth stage of Body Tempering, but now he was at the early stage of Qi Refining. No one could explain it, and no one dared ask too many questions.
It was the perfect storm of suspicion and fascination.
But Han Yu’s mind was far from those idle conversations. He had already put his plan into motion. He knew that he couldn’t afford to stay idle for long. He still didn’t know how the Eight Emotions Energy was ford or how he was supposed to obtain it. So far, he had only absorbed what little energy had co to him on its own.
Another thing Han Yu realized was that he still didn’t know how Soul Cultivation actually worked.
’I’m supposed to gather the Eight Emotions Energy and convert it to Soul Qi, but then what? What are the realms? What are the skills?’ Han Yu began to realize he lacked a lot.
He had been given a new path, but was entirely blind while walking on it.

It turned out that Soul Cultivation was entirely different from Qi Cultivation. There were fewer demarcations within it compared to the normal path.
Qi Cultivation had realms like the Qi Refining Realm, Core Condensation Realm, Nascent Soul Realm, and more.
But Soul Cultivation had broader and fewer realms.
The first realm that Han Yu learned of just now was the Soul Harvester Realm. Within this, there were different ranks.
The first rank was that of the Soul Initiate, which was equivalent to the Qi Refining Realm.
The second rank was called the Soul Adept Realm, equivalent to the Core Condensation Realm.
And finally, the third rank in the Soul Harvester Realm was called the Soul Expert Realm, which was on par with the Nascent Soul Realm.
There were no further divisions in the ranks themselves—none of the usual Early, Mid, Late, or Peak stages that Qi Cultivation realms had. This initially seed vague to Han Yu, but as he delved deeper into the new mory, he realized that this was a major advantage.
’The power will directly be equal to the strongest rank of the Qi Cultivation stage!’ Han Yu was stunned.
This ant that if he was a Soul Initiate in the Soul Harvester Realm, his power was equal to that of a Peak Qi Refinent Realm cultivator!

If he could really match those at the peak of each realm, he would be basically unrivaled upon every breakthrough.
"No! No! I can’t be so hasty!" But Han Yu was no longer the naive child from the past.
Having gone through death and multiple assassination attempts, he knew the world was not so easy.
"There must be sothing different to this. A disadvantage." Han Yu tried to think rationally.
And it didn’t take him long to figure that out either.
"Ah right! I might have the Soul Qi, but I don’t even know how to use it." Han Yu let out a sigh. "Is it the sa as normal Qi?" he wondered.
He had already figured out how to control his Spirit Qi. He rely needed to will it, and it responded to him. He could draw out wisps of Spirit Qi from his Dantian and bring them to any part of his body. It was as easy as breathing to him.
