The sky was dark, but not with clouds. It felt heavy—like sothing ancient was watching. A low breeze brushed against Lucifer’s face as he stood at the edge of the ruined cathedral that would serve as the first ho of what he was about to create. His long coat fluttered in the wind, and his red eyes narrowed.

Zane stood beside him, arms crossed, watching the torchlight flicker from outside where everyone was waiting. "Everything is ready," he said, breaking the silence. "We’ve got a coven. The stray wolves—we’ve made them a pack. Even humans, the ones who’ve seen too much or lost too much, have chosen to stand with us. All that’s left is you. Show yourself. Na the clan."

Lucifer didn’t answer right away. His gaze stayed on the horizon.

Sothing was coming. He could feel it in the air. Not a person. Not yet. Just... a shift. A change. Sothing subtle, crawling under his skin, whispering at the back of his mind. A warning. But he pushed it aside.

Not now.

Not when he was this close.

He turned slowly, the heels of his boots echoing as he walked forward. Zane fell in step behind him. The cathedral doors groaned open, and as Lucifer stepped outside, the crowd turned toward him. Hundreds gathered in silence beneath the cold night sky. Vampires, witches, werewolves, humans. The outcasts. The forgotten. The ones who had nowhere else to go. And now, they were here.

Waiting.

He stepped forward, and they all parted. A clearing ford at the center, and there they stood—his twelve. Vampires, like him. Turned by him. Chosen. Trusted. Zane stood among them, to his right, silent and sharp-eyed. And behind them stood Heron.

His Draugr. Towering. Cloaked in shadows. A being of death and loyalty, born from the deepest part of Lucifer’s soul. Heron’s presence alone made the air feel colder. The humans barely dared to breathe in his presence.

Lucifer stepped to the center of the circle, and the flas flickered higher, crackling with energy. Then, he spoke. His voice wasn’t loud, but it cut through the wind like steel.

"Tonight, I stand before you not as a vampire," he said, "not as a king, not as so ancient being with power to crush cities."

He looked around. At the faces of those who had followed him here. So worn. So scared. Others hungry for purpose.

"I stand here... as soone like you. Soone who was hunted. Broken. Betrayed. Soone who had nothing... and built power from the ashes."

His eyes locked with the Alpha of the werewolves. The man bowed his head in quiet respect.

"I don’t care what the world says about us," Lucifer continued. "They call us monsters. Beasts. Abominations. But they fear us because we are not bound by their rules. They fear us because they know that if we ever unite, no one can stop us."

Murmurs of agreent ran through the crowd.

"So tonight, we beco a force. Not a gang. Not a rebellion. A clan. One born from chaos. One forged from blood, fire, and loyalty."

He turned and pointed at the twelve vampires who stood at his side.

"These twelve are my hands, my shadows, my family. Their word is law when mine cannot be heard. And from this day on, every vampire they turn shall carry their na. They are more than just soldiers. They are legacies."

He walked past them slowly, calling each na, and marking them.

"Zane. Alessia. Mikael. Anita. Roland. Silas. Kira. Osric. Vel. Daron. Mira. Jax."

With each na, the fire behind them flared, like the flas recognized their importance. The witches began to murmur spells under their breath, feeling the shift in the air. The wolves growled softly, their eyes glowing. The humans stood straighter, like sothing deep inside them had been awakened.

Lucifer raised his hand and pointed to the werewolf alpha, the coven leader, and the human commander. "And you. You who represent the rest of us—you will stand with them."

He looked around once more. "Together, the fifteen of you will be the Fifteen Seats of this clan. You will carry out justice. You will protect this unity. You will enforce balance."

Then his voice dropped a little, more solemn now. "And above you all, stands one guardian."

He turned slowly. Heron stepped forward. Every step the Draugr took made the earth tremble lightly. The humans backed away instinctively.

"Heron. A being born from my will. My protector. My punishnt. My sword. He holds power only second to , and his loyalty will never waver."

Lucifer raised both arms slightly, letting the wind swirl around him.

"From this day forward, we are no longer scattered. We are no longer lost. We are Origin."

The word struck like thunder through the air.

"The beginning. The first. The last."

He turned, looking into the fire. "Let the world hear it and tremble. Let them know that a new force has been born and they have found a ho... and that ho has a na."

He closed his eyes for a second. And when he opened them, they burned with crimson light.

"I am Lucifer Origin. And this is our era."

The crowd erupted—not with screams, but with a roar. Deep. Primal. Like sothing ancient had just been reborn. The witches raised their staffs, the werewolves howled, the vampires hissed into the night, and the humans raised their fists high.

This was no longer a group of scattered races.

This was a storm.

And at the eye of that storm stood a king with fire in his veins, shadows in his bones, and a vision carved out of chaos.

Elsewhere

"He’s done it... one of my boys has finally embraced his true self—an Origin."

The voice was soft but heavy, like it carried weight even the air couldn’t hold.

A woman sat on a throne carved from obsidian and bone, her form wrapped in shadows so thick they moved like smoke. Only her eyes could be seen—deep crimson, glowing like coals.

The world around her was surreal, twisted. The sky burned a violent red, streaked with black veins. Two suns bled light over the horizon, both unnatural, both pulsing like hearts.

"But the question is..." she leaned forward slightly, resting her chin on her fingers. "Was it Lucifer... or Ruka?"

Her smile curled in the dark, slow and wicked. "Either way... it’s finally begun."

A low rumble echoed through the skies, like the world itself was reacting to her words.
